Recrop App Reviews

I’m so excited that this app has been brought back from the dead! I hunted high and low for something with similar capabilities for years now! Maybe there is/was something else but I never found it and I’ve been missing this app since iOS 10 or whatever it was that broke it here.

I’m a fairly pro photographer ( @daniel28.img ) And I often come across two problems. The main being Instagram not accepting full frame images without cropping, which can really ruin an image after I’ve spent hours editing. Also the simply act of flipping an image horizontally, yes I can easily do this with lightroom / photoshop but often I just want to click a button on my phone and now I can. I’ll be recommending this :)

This is a unique and essential app for iOS photo editing. I’ve used some version of this software by the same débrouiller for years: First Anti-crop, then Handy Photo. Handy Photo was not as good as Anti-Crop, but I’m 100% happy to say that Recrop restores the former glory of Anti-Crop, and more. It’s a great example of an app that does one thing, and does it well. Request: It would be nice to offer cross-editing capability if you own the other app, Retouch, without having to save to the Photo

After 10 years of creating content for major brands, I’m rarely surprised by software but Recrop is tremendous. The ability to quickly and accurately reframe according to several grid types is superb plus the fill feature is top notch A.I. I’m surprised by the tech but not surprised by ADVA Soft. They produce the best photography apps by far. Every influencer and content creator should be using their suites of apps imo.

An app I use automatically crops photos. My friend took a killer photo I was going to use but it was the wrong aspect ratio. This app totally saved the day!

It's been crashing on me all the time

It always crashes when saving a photo. Agh. Fix this ASAP! I did not pay you for this not to work. Disappointed.

This app is very useful! Brings some serious beauty to my photos! All I want is the app icon to change... It just doesn't fit the design of iOS 8 at all... I have the app hidden in a folder because it just doesn't fit on my home screen.

I like this app very much and would love to give it 5 stars but any app worth using in a serious way (which I think this app is worthy) should be able to save at the original size as long as your aren't cropping. how about an update?

I was happy to see that it works fine on iOS 10.

I don't use this a lot, but when I do it works great and saves me a lot of time.

I love Anti-Crop! It is the only application with this unique power! I would greatly appreciate if you updated the app to work with iOS 11.

This is a great app!!! I have used it a looot... Is not foolproof, you may need to work it a bit, depending on your image... but 99.9% of the times is just a breeze!! 100% thumbs up... I hope developers update to have it working with ios11

First I was disappointed because I was use to the old version, then it got better, now that I use it a lot, I ❤️❤️❤️it! Thanks for the update! I love it now that I learned how to use it! Thanks!

Soooooo glad they updated this app and brought it back from the dead. It does one thing, that basically no other app in the App Store does, and does it so very well.

Does what it says and does it well! Amazing results with limited repeated objects to give the trick away. Easy to heal the repeats with PS Fix if need be.

You won’t get disappointed, I would totally recommend it. I wish you guys have a version for Mac and PC for us the photographers/designers

Now saves nothing making it essentially worthless unless you screen shot your creation instead of saving it at full useable resolution. IPHONE 5s ios 7.0.4 UPDATE PLEASE

The app Before the is awesome but now there's too many bugs when I try to save the pictures directly the app close Note** i have 5s can you help me pls i love this app :'(

The app is really awesome but after i update my phone with OS8 the anticorp feature is not functioning... Please check and fix issue

Great concept but poor delivery. Saves in way smaller resolution. Would be a 5 star app if it saved in the full resolution of the source image.

I used to use this fairly often and it worked just fine. Now grabbing the borders causes the photo to rotate. I'm not miss-tapping the app simply refuses to recognize the gesture I'm trying to do. Makes this slightly unusable, please fix.

This app needs updated to work well with the latest IOS update.
