I love this simple app. Once you link it to Dropbox. Hit record. Hit stop. Then uploads files to your drop box folder. Works for taking notes, even interviews for a podcast.

Hi. I am a voiceover user. I would love it if you could make the app have a progress indicator to show how much time is left before the upload is complete. I don’t like sitting in waiting guessing at the time until it’s done. Especially when I make hour long recordings. If you can do that, I will give you five stars. This app has been a lifesaver for me.

Love the app. Good for people who record for me but don’t understand how to do much other than press a few buttons. Downside? Records in lossy mp3 format which isn’t iOS native encoder. Result? Ok recordings at high file size! But 👍🏼 overall. Thank you!

I especially love the option to start recording on launch. Developer: I’ve got another star for you if you can make a widget so I can have even more instantaneous recording!

This app is exactly what I want... Which is timestamped high quality audio recordings saved to the dropbox folder of my choice. Unfortunately, its happened 3 times now that I recorded something and the audio file is glitchy and unintelligible. There is either an issue recording or saving the file. I hope they fix it soon. PS if the code is open source, I’d love to see if I can fix it.

Naming your audio files? Where to place them? Are they safe and backed up? Just download RecUp, link it to your Dropbox account, choose where the files will be uploaded and worry no more.

The app for voice recording. Easy to use, backed up to the cloud, does what it says in silence. It would be nice if it had a dedicated pause button. The double tap for pause is hard to do and I end up splitting recordings in error many times. Would have been five stars with that pause button.

If you could choose 320k mp3 quality. Otherwise, this app is perfect.

Been using this app for years now. Got it when it was first called DropVox. It is hands down one of the single most important apps I have on my phone. As a songwriter and producer I can’t tell you how much this app has helped in catching some of my most treasured moments! 10/10

I have used this app for years to capture ideas, things to do, tidbits of info, etc. Nothing ever lost. I can then re-organize the entries in this queue into folders and such from a computer if necessary. this app has single-handedly prevented me from losing track of many things.
