Great for practicing, can also be mixed with other drum apps for an acoustic/electronic drum sound. You can dial in just a little variation so that it doesn’t get too repetitive but keeps the groove going. Easy to get going quickly but then lots of ways to customize, both subtle and drastic.

Great reggae grooves!

Very helpful for jamming and writing Reggae and Ska songs, just wish it supported AUv3 so I could fully integrate it into my DAW process.

Love this app

Reggae Drummer has become my go-to drum app for songwriting! I don’t even play reggae, but the rhythms lend themselves so well to my style. Two things at the top of my wishlist: 1: ability to add bars of silence in song mode, with a fill to lead in when the next pattern resumes. 2: ability to have dub effects exported with multitrack audio exports. Thanks for your great work on this app!

I played the Chapman Stick and have every Lumbeat app. I try to use a different drum machine every few songs. It changes the whole vibe. Reggae drummer is excellent. The jam and effects function is unique. When exporting beats between different drum machines, they do not correlate the same. Being able to toggle snare and sidestick is awesome in funk, soft, and jazz drummer. I wish it was in all of the machines . Reggae drummer is deep and thick with great sounds. Still have lots of questions,

Like all the lumbeat drummers, the sounds here absolutely slay. It just has a “feel” you don’t get from other apps/tracks.

All of these dev’s drum apps are cool. They will do some fills and jamming for you and give a nice vibe of the genre indicated.

Great preprogrammed patterns and it improvised musically. Plus you can create your own patterns, tweak all kinds of settings, export audio/midi, and sync with Ableton Link.

Top notch like the rest of the apps thus far.

Very nice beats, love the fact you can build a song mode with a tweaked kits.

Reggae drummer is another fantastic app- I own most of them. They are really good for practicing with and sound so good!

Most iPad musicians won’t touch Inter-app audio these days with Lumbeat drummers a exception that proves the rule. If you can’t get use out of these apps you’re not a serious musician. I will say that the Reggae sounds were a little more compressed sounding than I had hoped. Jazz drummer and Soft Drummer are much more realistic for me. Reggae Drummer still a really awesome beat maker with a lot of AI ingenuity on the ball. I got it on sale for $9 US a steal!

They are pretty realistic. Would like more percussion sound options, but still very nice.

Luis Martinez always delivers in terms of quality and functionality! There is even new added features like multiple drummers and effect sends that can be somewhat automated ! All of his apps come highly recommended.
