Remind: School Communication App Reviews

Great app, however I am unable to hear audio messages on my AirPods. I use it for choir and we send lots of audios. I can only hear them on the iPhone speaker and not my AirPods even when they’re connected to my phone.

Class owners who are no longer involved in a program or organization should be able to be removed or remove themselves from the Class. There’s no point in NOT being able to do that.

I wish the type was bigger and bolder. I can’t seem to change it and it is very difficult to read. I do like the app overall and being in touch w teacher/class.

Remind has been a great tool (app) to help connect with my children’s teachers. I’m very thankful for the convenience it offers.

This is an amazing app! I use it for school to help remind me with all of the tests or meetings it is so helpful especially for school or work 🤩

Verification is a little too intense.

Just one issue, I wish you can write more than 160 characters.

The Remind App has been such a helpful and useful tool for my job! As a teacher, we need to get in contact with a parent quickly and effectively and this app does exactly that! It’s also great that you can make multiple classrooms for different occasions! Would recommend to others.

I love this app because it’s a free, convenient, and easy way to communicate with parents.

Remind keeps me informed of all important date changes, time changes, any location changes for games. Especially important for Spring sports.

The app is constantly logging out of the tutor dashboard, which wouldn’t be as much of a problem if the ability to log back in was consistent. Often, when trying to log in to my tutor dashboard, it will just endlessly load and never log in. I’ve stopped trying to use that feature and just log in on my computer when I need to check scheduling.

It takes unusual time frames at times to have the option to approve or deny someone from joining your group

The announcements need to be bigger

I really do enjoy the app and the ease of communicating with parents. However, the character limit is really frustrating. I should be able to send an announcement or communicate with parents without worrying about a character limit. I also wish I was able to send multiple pictures in one announcement instead of one by one. It would be even better if I could send videos! There are a few things that could be adjusted to make this app a 5 star.

This is a mostly good app but it could use some changes. I think you should be able to edit or delete announcements after you’ve sent them.

I really do like and appreciate this app for contacting my athletes and their parents. But the one thing that I find frustrating is the character limit when you send anything in text. I don’t always want to put my information into a word document, and then upload the link to Remind. I want to send a quick reminder, but then it always turns up being more work on me creating all these documents.

I have the chance to talk with the parents of my students by using a text message or calling them. I really wish I could upload more pics or longer videos because I like to share what the kids are achieving in the class.

The app helped me to keep in contact with my teacher ! Also if i have any questions it s a quick way of contacting my daughter's teacher, was alittle buggy but now it work's flawlessly ❤️🧡💚💙 and now my youngest daughter is in kindergarten and now i can make sure she is okay n also teacher can contact me if any issues aswell !!! Nicee application

It’s an amazing application to use and communicate with students and parents.

I do not the limited amount of characters allowed. I have to cut my notices in 1/2 to parents. Teachers already spend a lot of money on school materials and software, I don’t like the idea that I have to pay extra to enjoy the longer notices and other benefits you may have for an additional fee. Should be free to teachers. I will be changing over to Class Dojo.

Remind is it quick and convenient way to communicate with parents on a regular basis. This app has improved my ability to contact families more promptly.

This is really helped a lot having a place for you to let us know when were canceled when were rescheduled. When is the best time to be at the school which school we have to go to all of the above great job

It’s amazing I love it

I haven’t been using the app for that long so, so far the experience has been great and I haven’t found any issues with using it! One small pet peeve though, could you please add an option for dark mode? I hate being blinded when I open the app in dark settings, especially since I’ve put pretty much everything else in dark mode. I’m sure a lot of other people would agree, dark mode is an eye-saver. But other than that, great app for communicating with my school clubs and members!

I wish the character limit wasn’t so small on an announcement.

Not easy to delete messages

The default font size cannot be adjusted per se at the app. So no matter if you change your phone settings it will keep it small at the app

I wanted to like this app but honestly when I figured out you can’t have a bigger group chat that was annoying… I understand there’s the announcement portion of it but I think our group wants a group chat room unless I’m missing something… can you guys make it more than 9 people in a group conversation???

Safe way to communicate. Individual messages and/or group announcements. All are fabulous. Notifications help me give specific quick feedback. Aloha!

I like the Remind notices. We feel that teaching our kids is a process in which parents and teachers are working together to bring our children with the ability to be responsible, knowledgable adults. To do that we should work as a team with our teachers and the better our communication with each other the better job we will do.

Allows for quick contact between teachers and parents. Numbers remain hidden which is essential for those in my profession.
