18 Positive User Reviews for Remote for Samsung

so many ads

theres literally ads every 10 seconds like get that bank ig but every 10 seconds is actually wild

Need a remote to make it work

I’m sure it would work fine. Except I’m trying to connect this remote because we don’t have a working one at the moment. So I can’t click ‘allow’ on the TV without a working remote 🤦‍♂️

good but has issues

Most of the time this app works great because I lost my remote, but other times it has some issues it tells me to press ok on my remote when I leave my house it restarts and does that but I cannot press ok on my remote because I do not have my remote, please fix this.

Connecting issues

I like the app but ever time I try to connect my tv back to the app it takes multiple try’s and takes forever to load even when I finally get it to connect it lags

Como??

Pero como le doy allow en mi tele son se me perdió el control??? 😅 esto es un chiste mal contado

Work perfect

It works perfect every time I use.

Not bad

The app works as it should, The ads can be annoying

The best app

So helpful, original remote didn’t have a light so it will be hard to press to change channels

W app

I love this app it works very well. •only a few ads not as much as other remote apps •free, I know many over remote apps that need money. •has many remote variants, really handy if you have multiple Samsung tv’s. Overall, just a very good app and I highly recommend, just a quick reminder, the only time you need to use a remote is in the beginning where it asks you to allow the app to connect to the tv.

Long press please

The Media remote UI is my favorite. Please add a press and hold feature for the select button. Or if it’s already there, please tell me how to enable it. In Samsung’s YT app, holding the center button on a video (using the physical remote) will displays options like “Don’t recommend this channel” or “Not Interested.” I would really love the ability to do that with this remote.

Control Samsung

Muy efectivo,sin fallas

This app is amazing

Best app fr, every other app its always some type of subscription or one time payment but this app just automatically lets you use it free of charge and the ads are very minimal, thank you to the devss!😁

Not bad

Works well but the ads are annoying so paid the two bucks and they are still popping up so that’s even more annoying.

5 Negative User Reviews for Remote for Samsung

Junk with ads

Needs more UAT testing. I stopped using it after a week. Can’t be bothered to compensate for the shortcomings - with ads!

Major flaw

App works well but main purpose if for a backup to control my TV. Asks to “allow” use too often. If I have the OEM remote handy, I don’t need the app.

Free trial not free

I was required to select free trial before getting to the app to see if it would work on my TV. I was charged the $39.99 the same night.

adds everytime u move!

this app is very good and easy to use, but every few moves there’s ads. it gets irritating

Typically touch screen issues

This app suits a very small purpose - when your physical TV remote’s batteries die. That’s it. It’s biggest failure is just like the touch screens in cars you have to always look down at the app to figure out what “key” you’re pressing. You can’t feel the buttons. Your fingers are just mashing glass - sometimes hitting the wrong button, sometimes hitting two buttons. There is a reason why physical keyboards are still the preferred method of input.
