Retro Parsec App Reviews

Nostalgic. Brings back memories of my first computer, the TI99/4A and it’s amazing gameplay. I played Parsec all the time. My only issue is with the controls. It’s difficult to play on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Can the controls be moved closer to the center - at least for the larger form factors? The fire button is in the lower-right corner and is often missed when tapped. It’s nearly off-screen for me.

Awesome remake! I forgot how difficult it was. However on my iPhone 14 pro max, the controls are in the corners, almost off the screen completely. Makes it difficult to hold the phone and they aren’t very responsive. They need to be moved in the screen more. Other than that it’s great!

Please add external bluetooth joystick support, so that it will work with iPhone joysticks, and I can use a separate joystick just like I did back in my TI994A days. Please stop the top score from resetting. To encourage game play, I want to try to beat my last high score with my kids, but the app doesn’t retain the top score after exiting :(

The graphics are great! I would play this a lot more but the controls are difficult. The joystick is sluggish and the fire and lift buttons are difficult to hit. They don’t respond well. Fix those and I’ll give this a higher rating, and play it more!

Perfect emulation of a classic for old-timers like me!

I love this game,,,I wish the screen joystick control was more responsive and not so close to the edge. My son thinks it doesn’t work right because the controller is too close to the screen border. We are using a iPad Pro.

Very faithful to the classic original! Great fun on top of inspiring enormous nostalgia. This is the app that may finally make me buy a Bluetooth controller.

Please add a "Continue" button so that we can continue from last level! pleeeeease!! :)

This game works well especially when you use a joystick. Would be really cool also if there was an Apple TV app. But I am very pleased with the performance on my iPad Pro. Love this game is a child TI 99 computer.

I love this game! It looks almost exactly like the original. My only problem is somehow my screen is zoomed in and I can’t see the score. How can I correct this? I would gladly give 5 stars otherwise!!

I bought this last night and played for a bit. Closed it and opened, now there is no ground. Opened it today and there is still no ground. Can’t see score, lives, fuel, etc

This is exactly like playing the old TI 99/4A game! Thank you so much for making this. Now if someone could just make a version of TI Invaders...
