20 Positive User Reviews for Reuters News
News w/o Bias
Having Reuters to turn to in this era of unprecedented misinformation in America helps me maintain an understanding that the world does see what is happening here. It also gives me hope that other nations will not align with the dangerous policies of the current administration.
E
Reuters continues to be one of my main sources of trusted reporting. It is part of my daily routine to stay informed. I will continue my support of this vital news source.
Retiree
Reuters abides by its “Trust Principles “ dating back to WWII. It does not succumb to partisan bullying in its news coverage. May it always remain true to these principles!
Factual non biased reporting
I depend on Reuters for what I call Walter Cronkite news. No drama no theatrics just information
Great besides the clips
The 30/60 minute news highlight videos used to be way better. You could see a breakdown of each clip and skip ahead or go back but they got rid of that which I hate. Also, if something happens like I get a call or text someone in the middle of the clip, a phantom video starts playing at the same time as the video I unpause. It’s super frustrating. Everything else is great, I just think the old setup had less bugs.
Readable and factual
I enjoy reading Reuters. It’s a dependable, well researched and written news source. I can follow important news all over the world. My only complaint is that when I finish a story and return to the main page, I’m taken to the top of the page rather than where I left off. It’s minor but can be irritating. Overall, a great source for information and opinion.

An unbiased world picture with useful ideas for international policy and investment.
Fan of Reuters
Thumbs up to Reuters for a sharply specific edge to its articles & notifications. Not a political edge per se, but rather an ongoing dedication to timely and detailed reporting.
Pretty decent
They do a decent job of reporting the news in an apolitical way. It’s all about trust, and I do feel I can trust the information I get from Reuters. Hopefully they remain faithful to this doctrine of just reporting on the world as it is. As always there is another layer or wrinkle to the truth that never sees the light of day, but that’s the case with most legit news sources. They can’t risk their reputation, and I get that.
Access to breaking news without a political agenda
Excellent access to breaking news without a political agenda
News that IS fit to print.
Recalling the old motto of the New York Times “all the news that’s fit to print” the Reuters app gives quick access to the legitimately important stories of the day. It is definitely worth the low annual subscription price.
Paid subscription not working
I paid for a one year subscription and Reuters stole my money and delivered nothing. I accessed the subscription part for one day
It is a scam.
Low Spin Accurate News
Appreciate this new source – very old – non-political – worldwide news
Markets Section Much Less Useful
The new release makes the Markets and Watchlist almost useless. It requires two extra steps to see the day’s data and reorganized my list. The little, squiggly day’s chart graph is cute, but useless to an investor. I’m moving on.
Clean and Informative
None of the clutter and distractions found on other news apps. Clean and informative.
Political bias
Like all news media these days, they don’t even try to hide their political bias. Why it’s so hard for journalists to simply present facts is beyond me.
Good news - good pictures - bad app
Version 6.1.1 lost the ability to zoom in on pictures nor rotate them. Can’t see much on my iPhone14 Pro. Someone shoots beautiful pictures, someone publishes them as a gallery, and then some engineer locks them to roughly 1.5x2” size.
3 Negative User Reviews for Reuters News
Cannot sign in
I like Reuters as a news source and purchased an annual subscription through the App Store using my Apple account. Everything worked well for a few months, but recently I was suddenly logged out and can no longer sign in. Tapping the login button does nothing, and since I’m not logged in, I can’t access the news I’m paying for. Very frustrating experience, and the issue has not been fixed.
Removed best unique feature
Best feature was to have a time customizable newsreel. Made it so different to all others.
Now its a me too news app, you have to scroll video by video.
Apps Ok
Most articles are good. If it says analysis, it skews to the writers preference, which is not conservative. If your looking for neutral news, go elsewhere.
