12 Positive User Reviews for RNI Flashback
Fun, fast, useful
Love this app. Perfect for those times when you want something a little grittier / less clean than the full RNI Films app. Only things I would like to see are:
1. Option to save as a modified original, similar to Snapseed and other apps, to avoid creating duplicates each time you edit a pic
2. Control over resolution of saved image, or at least clear indication of whether this saves as full/original res.
Unique and beautiful
I use RNI Films and love it. But I also decided to add RNI Flashback due to the way it developed the final result...Each one being unique and not a preset. Using it has resulted in a look that is truly unique and stunning. I’m getting results that are new to my eye. Both apps have reason for me individually, but I can use them together if a certain photo calls for it. RNI has caught my attention which is not easy. Highly recommend any app they make.
Great
Pls don't ever take it off.
Definitely 5 stars
I use this app for all of my editing, and it makes it so easy. All you do is tap until you find filter you like and then you save it. You can tap to see if there are any more but the edits seem as if they are everlasting. This app produces awesome edits that truly do look like old school photography. I always get compliments on my editing. I was hesitant of purchasing this app but it’s probably some of the best few dollars I’ve spent. If you’re looking for an amazing editing app, this app does t
It’s missing something
It’s a good app that does most of the work for you but it lacks support for some raw files. I also think it needs the ability to export some image created in this app to RNI film app, this will allow you to further develop your image..
One major thing it lacks is the ability to save a preset and apply it to other photos (adding favorites do not persist between images).
Charming
I would like to know more about why the developer finds it necessary to collect linked user content (defined by Apple as:
User Content:
Emails or Text Messages
Photos or Videos
Audio Data
Gameplay Content
Browsing History
Search History
Other user content:
Such as a list of contacts in
the user's phone, address
book, or social graph
Including subject line,
sender, recipients, and
contents of the email or
message
The user's photos or
videos
The user's voice or sound

Nice but
Love this app. I wish it could be integrated in my Lightroom workflow but a desktop version isn’t available and not sure if it can be integrated with Lr Mobile. Also, some looks are amazing but they are generated once and cannot be saved for application on another photo for a consistent look across a photo shoot. Lack of a saturation slider is an issue. Also the white interface is incredibly straining on the eye, it should be dark like Colibri.
Photos the way life works...
I love photography and film, I do it for a living. It truly is as simple as clicking an icon and BAM! The app simulates a film look. If you understand it as a tool that can generate ideas for your images then you will love it, and yeah, life kinda works that way... Some of the best photos are moments, mistakes, interruptions and accidental creations.

Excellent!
I love this app.
Love these apps!
Recently revisited this click-for-random-filter app. Also purchased RNI Colibri. It's fun to see what retro filter will be applied. It can create some beauties!
Nice filters but…
It would be nice to have the camera built into the app. Just snap a picture and apply the random filter. Other then that it adds some nice filters to the snapshots.
