Robo Shield Spam Call Blocker App Reviews

After installation and configuration, when I launch the app I am greeted by a blank screen! iOS 17.3

With the native “Live Voicemail” for the phone app for iOS 7 and up, RoboShield is a bit redundant except that more information is given for calls that get forwarded to RoboShield’s voicemail function. On the other hand, I don’t think that there is any app that catches phone spam in the wild so RoboShield does what it says that it does. Forwarding call from senders not in your contacts achieves the same results except RoboShield gives more details on the caller and there are a few options such a

I was on MR. Number for a year. At first, I only received a few spam calls a day. As the year progressed, it advance to about 10 to 12 spam calls a day! I switched to Robo Shield 2 months ago and only receive an average of 0-2 calls per day. If this continues, I will stay with Robo Shield. Bottom line, so far their advertising claims seem to be as accurate as advertising claims can be in this competitive environment.

So far this app has screened two unknown callers. Robo Shield now handles voicemails and a message can be left. I’ve had no problems with the app’s voicemail function. I can dig into the details of the caller and their location and type of caller service that is being used. Known spam is labeled as such. I find this to be useful in screening for any false positives.

Can’t really tell anything about the app, course never past the text to verify. Update: remove it, and reinstalled-working now, with some bugs. Didn’t test it yet.

I don’t like the fact that I need to manually enter the phone numbers I want blocked. I’m not going to pay excessive prices to get a basic service.

Spam calls have overwhelmed my phone. Nice to have finally solved this problem! They don’t make it clear, but got this for free with my hotspot shield subscription which is cool

Tried to open the app to adjust settings and just get a white screen. Have restarted the phone and cannot get the app to open. I’ve been paying for a subscription and realized it wasn’t turned on and now I’m trying to set it up, it’s not working.

I’m still getting calls that should be stopped! Why??? For what you charged me someone should be here screening my calls would be better!!!

Just downloaded the app and I can set the settings as the iPhone doesn’t see the app.

Of the - 5 unwanted calls I received, only 1 I could tag as SPAM, 3 others would crash the app; it seems the Info “I’ button was too close to the “Delete “ option when trying to tag the call as SPAM etc could only once mark it as SPAM

I subscribed to premium but when I try to use the premium functions it still keeps saying “purchase premium”

This app is not worth 19.95 a month. Don’t get suckered in as I appears to be free.
