This is a useful app. Excellent for demoing and practicing. There are a lot of customizable features; some more useful than others. I think there is way too much native reverb and delay in the drum sound and even turning it off in the customization settings doesn’t cure it. It makes the drums sound unnaturally 80s. I bought it and will be hopeful for future updates that continue to improve on it.

Love this app for years

The iPhone version has no live fill but the reggae version has it. Maybe other apps. Would be nice if you could add that. There is a midi control for live fills. But that doesn’t work either. Which I use Bluetooth to control it , and midi designer pro too. Please update this. It makes no sense that there’s no live fill. Also the pads for iPhone too.! understand some limitations because of a small footprint. Thanks

I am no drummer. I have tried using a Yamaha DD-60 but I am never really pleased with the results. This app, however, allows me to design a very realistic drum line. I enjoy being able to morph the drums, add fills on the fly. It adds a more human feel to the final results. I can then add synths, bass, guitar and voice as needed. My main beef is this. It’s an “okay” application. The drums clip way too easily, forcing you to have to keep the volume way down

Every drum machine you do is brilliant! I have a request. “Jazz Drummer”. Old school Blakey style nasty kits with big dark cymbals ! (?? 😬) and maybe a way to use the samples between the apps that you purchase. ? Those are requests not what I would call improvements. I don’t know how you could make these better or easier to use. Love this app. Still working on how to build a complete song, a bit tricky to navigate the details but hope to figure it out with some time and effort. Great tones and variety.

I needed a fairly simple drum machine and this has what I needed and a lot more. Recommend!!! Fun!! Wanted to add the the versatility is amazing. Worth it! As an add on it does gway more than ya need. Good to have though.

Awesome sounding and one of the best and most useful drum apps.

If you have a beat in mind to compliment your tracks this app does it intuitively. Superb sound!

Easy to use and good so far

The app is easy to use. It sounds good and makes it easy to jam with.

I’m white, and most my friends can’t swing or play on the back beat. Now that I found this app I don’t need to find Black friends for groove. Yeah, it’s that down.com. Sync function and everything is phenomenal.

I have used this app for a long time now and it has really helped me play with grooves easily and then transfer them to my drum set. It’s so handy to come up with new ideas and I love how versatile it is.

This is a revised review. I initially had the lite version but didn’t understand the program fully because of the lack of instructions. I bought soft drummer and once I understood that better, although instructions would still be a huge benefit, I purchased rock drummer. Love it!

Realistic , super simple controls, can go from complex beats to subtle … buy it

Took a little time to figure some features out, but now it’s getting tons of use in my setup.

While I do wish the Lumbeats were AUv3, I still love them all!

This is the perfect drum machine for composing and laying down tracks. Easy to use and the interface is a quick learn.

I am still learning this app, as it can do much more than just playing the provided beats. It’s perfect for my bass practice

I wish this had AUV3 support and it would be better to have some sounds with less reverb. Great for jamming.

If you need app drums that sound like a live drummer this app is one of the better ones out there now.
