Ok but not that intelligent

This Russian checkers program is ok. However, it does not understand that a queen on the long diagonal can not loose against two queens and a piece. It moves back and forth between a1 and h8... and the game never ends. There is no way to offer a draw. The program does not count how many moves were repeated.

Strength

The computer program is really VERY weak even for the strong hedge level 6. I played a number of times by making weak movements at the beginning and was still able to win even after loosing one piece. My understanding is that the program can foresee not more but 2-3 movements. It is not enough for the level 6 strength of the game. In all other aspects I found the game attractive.

Don’t really like it

It’s Ok I guess, but I hate the auto forced moves. You should be able to move wherever you want w/o the computer deciding for you. Too controlling and I don’t like the back and forth captures. Then, again Russians have a weird way of doing things.
