Ruter – Mobility in Oslo/Viken App Reviews

Visiting from the U.S., my phone is dual SIM with a IS number and Spanish number. Downloaded the app, tried to register under the U.S. number (changing the prefix to +1) but never got a confirming code, so could t registet. Same with Spanish number so using all as a guest. Otherwise app seems fine

I tried many times to create a profile but the app did not send me a code to my cell number.

I loved using this app in Oslo. Intuitive and functional, it is everything you need for navigating the area. When we went to Bergen we had to use Skyss, which was a significantly worse app interface and functionality.

So many improvements from the first years of this app. Love the shortcuts where I can now select stations with the routes I need, but please add a function for us to manually reorder the shortcut stations! Thank you for removing some silly “tourist” spots on the map.

This is a great app except that with my American phone number the verification code never comes through.

This is the best app I’ve ever used — period. And no, I don’t work for the company. It’s simple to use, powerful and encompassing. Please don’t change anything.

Impossible to set up a login since it never sends a code, at least to this US-based cellphone. Many discussions on the Internet about this idiotic bug/failure. OTOH, continuing as guest does work and the rest of the app seems to work well including the walking directions for segments of one’s travel.
