Recently tried to use the app to complete my online shopping as I do most weeks and the app has stopped working for me. I have tried deleting an reinstalling and am having no luck! There is no way to report the issue so I am writing a review in hopes they sort out the bug.

Just wanted to share with you guys that Henri was very helpful with showing me the right way to work the Safeway app. I was trying to clip the deal on the shrimp and it was not popping up. So I asked the lady at the self checkout, she then told me to talk to Henri. I only had 1 bag of shrimp at first, she started showing me how to work the app and asked if I wanted to get 3 more so I ran to the back of the store to get them. Saved me $72 on 4 bags. When I first started using digital coupons had no problems. In June and July they weren’t working for me. I am pretty sure I was doing what I needed to do correctly.

I understand the product pictures not being able to have a dark background but I think if the rest was not so bright it would help to be less harsh on the eyes. Could it be possible to sort by brands and have a list of companies? A real bonus would be if I see the logo that is on the product too.

I it’s a farce I clip a deal but u want my id son go thru that & then get nowhere or I’m told that once agin I have to sign up this way too complicated I’m 83 and not tech savvy so o get to the store & try to clip the deal with my phone but it says no deals even though it’s clearly marked on the shelf as a deal WHY can’t u just make it work without a big fuss

Safeway has a wonderful app that saves money (both on groceries and gas). I highly recommend it!

Love being able to order online for pickup but the app is quite clunky which surprises me for such a big company. It’s impossible to edit or cancel an order in the app for me once placed. It has a spot to chat for support, but it doesn’t connect to my account or order, so the chat folks can’t help. It doesn’t have a number to call for the store when I arrive and the only way to get to arrival info for pickup is to go find the text they sent and click it. This opens a specific page in the app but

Love the app, it’s super useful but wish the out of stocks were not included when you can fill up your cart. Why show them if they are out of stock? Why allow it in the cart? Why do I have to toggle it off for every item I look for? App in store is very slow, on or off wifi. Other than that, I can make my list and my teenagers can shop the list from their phone and see exactly what I want brand wise/size etc.

This app is great except that you can’t empty your shopping cart easily. If you wish to start your order over you must delete each individual item in your cart one by one. Not only do you have to delete each item individually, but each time you delete an item there is a slight delay before the page refreshes and you must wait a second to delete the next item. Other than that I do appreciate the ability to place pickup orders on this app. It’s very convenient!

It should remember our frequent substitutions. It should remember the store we shop at. More than once have we placed an order only to find it is at a store miles away, that we don’t shop at. It should not suggest substitutions that are not very similar to your original choice. (Don’t offer me a quart of whole milk if you don’t have a gallon of skim.) There should not be coupons that RAISE the price. It should let me put a nickname on my payment methods. It should let me block unwanted prod

I am new to the app and had to ask a Safeway employee to explain where I could clip “digital deals.”. It is not stated as “digital” which makes it difficult to find and under “for you” which is not a clear heading.

I’ve never gotten the Safeway app to work so this will be first time. I have a hard time getting it to go through the entire process without technical difficulties. Where is the the actual checkout process and submit and the time it will be ready for pickup? I’ll update to say whether it worked or not.
