SAGA thing c is 8-bit & not 16-bit and it’s the same for some others to. and what does the “sonic” dial do?

This is a very quality synthesizer for the price. No muss, no fuss, lots of controls for customizing patches, lots of great presets. I wanted to make some chiptune on my phone and this thing is the powerhouse making it happen.

Why is midi not working on Saga synth like it should be?I like the design and the presets.This synth needs work.Fix the midi functionality problem.

Tons of presets

Way more than nostalgic video game synths. This thing rocks.

This sounds NOTHING like a SEGA or any 16 bit FM synth AT ALL. Not even close. That said, it’s a nice sounding and easy to program synth. I’m glad I got it at the sale price of $3 because I would not have been happy at all shelling out full price for something that’s falsely advertised. If you want SEGA 16 BIT goodness you’ll have to buy Plogue’s Chip Synth MD as a DAW plugin. That’s an AMAZING emulation of a Genesis/Mega Drive.

I rated this 5 stars so the next person looking at this app can read this. This app does not live up to its name. Apparently this game was supposed to have sega genesis sound pieces and sound effects, but none of that was in the app. Even The mascot is some bootleg version of Sonic the hedgehog. I seriously don’t understand why so many people like this app. It is misleading and I want my money back.

Am loving the new features, especially the new filter and resonance! I’m a subtractive synth kind of guy. :-)

Every creation you guys come out with is like gold standard quality , and the open source Interaction attracts the top talented musicians and coders because they all love the idea of Freedom and creation going hand in hand.

Please make this available on Mac (for Intel and the fancy guys!). I’d happily pay again

Forgive me father, for I have synthed…

I can try something out in the standalone app, move over to GB and hear the same thing now. The inconsistencies between GarageBand and the standalone app are gone (really wish YouTube reviewers would at least check GB when they test, because I can bet there are more folks noodling in GB than AUM :) and I’ve been enjoying using it a lot more now. Sounds good with a wide variety of interesting presets, including the very cool percussion noises.

Sure, it’s mostly a 90’s game system sound romp,we, but there is more versatility here than meets the eye. Sounds can be used in just about any genre due to the well thought out and entertaining interface. Midi maps well to controllers, enjoyable all around inspiration.

If you like those old video game sounds or you’re a developer, this thing is great! Way Cool!

I love retro games. This synth hits all of the right notes. I hope there is another expansion for this. I just can’t get enough! Great work devs!
