Like others have said, cannot connect via the app. There are detailed instructions below on how to connect, I’ll add that I used the chrome app on my iphone with an incognito tab rather than a laptop. I put the user’s name and the date of the review as my title to lead others to it. App is quite primitive but the weather station seems fairly solid so we’ll see how it goes
Worst App Ever?
It has been one of the most frustrating experiences in a long time trying to use this app. Quite simply, it does not work if you follow the included manual. I finally logged on to my Linksys Router web page and added DNS 192.168.5.1 as the default IP address. I ensured the base was set to synch and it logged on. These two steps are not mentioned in the manual.
Suggestion
The app isn’t terrible. My main problem with it is when you open it, you have to wait like 30-60 seconds for the data to refresh/update. It’s quicker to just kill the app, reload it, then it pulls in the newest data immediately. PLEASE add a REFRESH button that pulls the latest data, or allow the screen to be pulled down to refresh the data (like almost all other apps on earth)
Works great if you don’t use the app.
Seriously, forget the Sainlogic app to setup your device. A reviewer on February 28 gives great instructions, but basically, connect to your devices WiFi with your phone and then go to 192.168.5.1. It will pull up the same menu and actually work, then you can see all the info on Wunderground instead of this app.

Old interface, lack of settings
I have a newer iPhone with the notch, this app is so old that the notch blocks parts of the UI. In addition, how about some settings to change military time to standard. I got the app to connect following the instructions in other reviews so no worries there. Slow to update, have to kill the app and relaunch it to get new data. Just…kinda bad overall
Useful…sort of
It’s nice being able to pull the data off of my weather station, but it really needs the option to automatically refresh the current station instead of having to manually refresh all the time.
