Scaniverse - 3D Scanner App Reviews

Unless I'm mistaken, i’m not able to use different lenses in this app for photogrammetry. Please allow us to use macro lenses for really close-up model models! Rest of the app is fantastic.

Awesome app that is fantastic for 3d scanning medium to large things. The viewer for the scan is easy to use and the measuring system is great!

Amazing app! 1- When I take my car to the shop for an oil change, I always take a scan of the underside. I was able to use my scans later to inspect my exaust, measure sections and diameters to make sure I got the right parts 2- When I take apart complicated wiring on my car, I always scan the wiring harness. Doing this I am able to rip everything out and put it back together with confidence. 3- When I build something for someone, I scan it when I'm done. Sometimes it's easier to explain t

Difficulty at first but operator to phone interface. Finally fixed operator weakness and did a perfect scan of friends frog statue

I’m a sculptor. This app works great for scanning objects, people, clothing…for reference material to work from. Still photos are always good, but I think this is better when working in 3D. In sculpture, you have to make it look good all around not just one angle or direction.

This app is very user friendly and is free to use to make 3d pictures.

I use this for my industrial survey of equipment setup and capturing details it has provided me with needed info that I missed during my site visits.

I hope the app has a send raw data feature, so I can capture using my phone then send it to my iPad to process it. On device processing is why I love this APP, but it do use a lot of battery. An iPad has way better battery life and processing power.

I’m really enjoying this app a lot. I get to go around my neighborhood and scan different things when I’m on my dog walks. I hope to stop scanning my favorite trees and move onto buildings and more interesting landmarks soon.

I love how this app can pinpoint every detail on a 3D scan using the splat feature and the best part is it does all this without needing lidar. My one problem with this app is that the splat feature isn’t a real 3D model that can be printed or other things but it can scan still normally without lidar it just doesn’t work great for large objects.

Can scan rooms easily and intuitively creates great models for use with 3d programs :)

I don’t typically leave reviews, but this app is a work of art. Devs should be proud of their work here. I can export these scans and pull dimensions! Excellent work all around! Great for large area size scans!

I have tried about half a dozen of LiDAR room scanners and scaniverse is the easiest and fastest to use plus gives results as good as any other. One thing I have learned over time using proprietary camera apps over the last decade is you can’t put your eggs in one basket because you never know when a developer will yank their app off the store or stop developing for it. So my best advice is if you want to be sure to keep a scan for a long time is to scan a room twice using 2 different apps.
