More like news sites used to be in America. Competent reporters; not just pretty faces. Some good short documentaries. Chase and Christian are excellent weeknight anchors.

I have the ScrippsNews app on my phone. I have a hearing problem, so I am having a hard time understanding what is being said. I would appreciate it if the stories could be written. That is the way I get news on the local stations.

The story on Elijah McClain was very sad. But the Scripps media is now the media to watch for any welcoming and valid information that is being provided or shared with the public or the communities.

Easy to use. Best news content in an app. Balances national and world perspective. Reporters are allowed to tell the story, and presenters ask thoughtful questions. When the anchors interview, they ask difficult questions and follow up. Interactions and reactions seem genuine and offhand as opposed to the glib scripted comments that seem so false on other networks.

The app always opens on my watch list, but prepopulated with articles of the apps choice. But these are not articles I wish to watch. So what it’s going on? The first thing I have to do is to deleted all the unwanted articles to make room on my watchlist for articles that I wish to watch. What a mess. Also, email sent to the feedback email address get bounced as undeliverable.

When I want unbiased NEWS I turn to SCRIPPS first. I found they report the news as it happens with no bias overtones. I’m one who doesn’t need to have one certain news program on to function. I find the political news is news not a “circus” event. The national Reporting is nice to have as it is news. Thanks for keeping the standards of true journalism.

….can you please PLEASE get some other commercial besides the one for Reading Eggs?? If I have to listen to that little kid spell cat, bat, and splat over and over, I’m going to go crazy. Don't you have some other sponsors you can mix in, just to change things up a bit?

A friend’s wife recommended Newsy. She just wants a honest, distilled report of what’s happening. This reporting is exactly that. From what I can see the reporting/interviews are straightforward with the reporter NOT attempting push any agenda. I don’t have to mute it because the broadcaster heckling the person being interviewed to advance an agenda. Thank you

The coverage is fine. As long as it is unbiased, that’s all I want. I want facts, not opinions. The problem I have is that every single time I get a notification and want to read the article that the notification is addressing, it opens the article in a browser instead of in the Scripps app. It’s very annoying. It needs to direct to the app. It’s never worked for me.

This app shows the same news stories for days. Always the same stories, yawn!

This used to be my favorite news app if not to say my favorite app on all my devices. I would open it before work at lunch and in the evening. That is, until the app was updated this morning and is rendered useless. I no longer have a feed of trends that I can quickly go through to the segments of interest. Seems to be a messy mix between articles and video streams. This is so disappointing.
