Scythe: Digital Edition App Reviews

I originally gave this game a one star because it couldn’t even load up the menu, but it turns out that you just have to make sure that you’re connected to your game’s center with an account with the same email as the one in the App Store. Than you have to uninstall the game and then reinstall it. If you hear music while it’s loading, it should be working.

Great game but while playing pass and go there is no notification when your turn is ready. There is also no way to start game with friends that aren’t logged in and online. Very annoying to have to sync up a time to both open the app and get online to start a game.

Hard to see what others are doing, undo button doesn’t work, cant see which actions are upgradable, confusing interface, and many other UI issues. Steam version is preferable.

Please add zepplins.

This is a great app for a great game. The developers need to make it a little easier to look at your competitors player mats. It is a big deal when you ate playing the board game. I am not sure there is a way on the app… or at least I have not figured it out Hopefully this is something they will develop soon… it would be a six-star gave if they did.., pun was fully intended!!!

I’d love the game more if there was SOUND when playing on my iPad. Sound works perfectly on my iPhone though

I love this game but I can’t seem to figure out how to increase the bot difficulty. Easy is too easy. Any advice app designers? I’m not sure where to look.

Please add rotating camera. It would make a pretty game prettier

Have run into a number of glitches that can be super frustrating. Most recently not being able to use the submerge much advantage with the Nordic Faction. Please fix. Thanks!

Playing against ai is fine. But with real people, it is hard to tell what is happening, and lose movement if you take a call. Very buggy.

Please remove the annoying pop-up during the game that keeps asking me to create an Asmodee account!

This game is great, but the player mats really needs to highlight what upgrades are available in the bottom row actions. I don't have all the player mats memorized.

Finally here. Great interface, plays well. Looking forward to expansions!

This is a great Scythe experience when you do not want to pull out all of the plastic and wooden pieces. Challenging, yet relaxing at the same time! Woot woot!

So far haven’t had any issues with AI play. Going to be entertaining for some time.

So far I am having a great time experiencing this game on the go! One update I think would be awesome though is during online play with a friend, if the game would notify you when it’s your turn! Otherwise, so far it’s been great!

It’s too hard to play, compared to the physical game, because not enough is visible at once. More scoring conditions should be visible at once, and you should be able to more easily switch between views of scoring conditions.

Just wondering if there will be any updates soon adding either of the expansion players? Love the game and am excited to play with some different characters.

Love the board game and the digital adaptation is everything I wanted it to be.

Just sits in a loading screen. Seems others are having the same issue. I’d hold off on buying until the creator fixes this issue.

This was working great on the app, and then today it keeps timing out every two seconds and I can't even get into an online game at all. Super frustrating because it's super fun

Another series of bugs and notifications. How many attempts at game notifications does it take to get it right?

The game runs well enough. The biggest problem is you can’t add your friends to a game. I can add random strangers in the lobby. But if I friend someone. They don’t show up.
