SDA Hymnals With Tunes App Reviews

This app has been a sure blessing to me over a number of years. Being able to still sing the old hymns delights my heart and spirit.

When I saw it updating today, I was excited that it was finally updated. When I went and looked, the first hymn, all the lines were centered, not the customary way of all being on the left margin. When I clicked on for score, it was and actual score of 2 treble and 2 bass lines making it very difficult to play on the piano, plus there were no words to go with the score, so using it to read while you sing is not a thing.

This app is easily worth the money. Just be aware that the music score and lyrics are separate. Not together as shown in the illustration. If you need to be able to play the music while seeing the lyrics, this app is probably not the one you want. Otherwise, hey, it’s only $1.99 after all.

Hymn 340 is missing letters to the beginning of each stanza

It’s nice to have all the hymns. However, on my iPhone or iPad, I can’t see all the screen. On my iPhone, I can’t get to the music and I can barely see the search bar ☹️.

Please fix the app so that the accompanying music will play with the hymn. Thanks

Does not play the music anymore

After years of working on several devices the app just stopped sound function.

I used to love this app, but now the music stopped playing. Don’t know what went wrong

I am using an iPhone 12 Pro Max and the top of the app is always covered by the back button. It also will not fit the sheet music to the screen. With that update, the rest of the app looks good.

I was hoping it sang the hymns but all is well

I’m not so musically incline so this is a great help!!! I love that I can turn on the music to remember how the melody goes :)

Would be nice to have the music for the entire songs

I use this app each morning during my morning worship. I used to sing a praise song each day. But now I'm going straight thru the hymnal. I love the familiar hymns but it is also fun to learn new ones. It's great having the music to help me sing.

Although the search capability needs improving I am so happy that I can find a hymn quickly to sing praises to God. Sometimes I cannot remember the name of a hymn but only a few words and that’s where the App needs to improve its search capability

Some songs have lyrics different from the original? Other than that, it’s a wonderful app to accompany us in our family worships.

It’s a fair app a bit disappointing because only one verse and chorus is played in other hymnals as opposed to music for the entire song. Very disappointing!!!

I have enjoyed this app. It is consistent and well worth the money.

This is a really nice one. Especially because of the fact it includes the French hymns in there. Now it’s time to use it to worship the Lord.

Worshiping with music is pretty cool and this app does that for me. Loving it!!!

Excellent tool for worship. However, hymn #7’s music ends after the 2nd verse. No music for the 3rd verse.

Thank you for including songs that were left out of the Adventist hymnal. The inclusion of the tunes is a wonderful blessing.

This app is great. It gives you the opportunity to chose up to three different languages (French, Spanish and English). What I love the most about it is the fact that I can learn songs I don't know because it comes with the melody for each song.

I've long looked for an app that has not only the written music but the words and audio as well to know how the song goes. This app has it ALL!!!

We love this app and use it for worship.

This is a great app--not perfect, but useful and easy to use. Having the music is a bonus for me, a non-musical person. This has helped my worship grow too!!

Works as described, no crashes for me simple to use.

I bough because de music charts, is not what I'm looking forward, but is a great app.

My wife and I use this app every morning to aid us in our devotional. This app is just like our Church hymnal. All the songs on this app are played on the piano or organ.

This app is actually really cool. I like the fact that I can find hymns in English and French. It gives you the music and play sheet. It’s awesome!!! Really good product.

This app has been more than a blessing to me and I delight in learning new hymns and the tunes. I am hoping that the old hymnal part of it can have the music for the entire hymn.

I can’t find where to tap and play the music for many of the lyrics. There doesn’t seem to be a music button to touch and play music on some of the hymns chosen.???

This app is a blessing. There is no other way to put it. It is worth the $10.00.

The Organ sounds really well but it doesn’t work without WiFi which is poor

On the iPhone 12 pro this app does not show any of the audio or scored music or anything beyond the words. I woke up this morning wanting to worship and was disappointed to discover only the words of the songs were available.
