I would give this 5 stars if it had minor chords. It could be a useful songwriting tool but I need minor chords. Seems like a significant oversight. Their other apps include minor chords.

Like I said good sounds and strums I own all of these just wish we could take a pattern from more than one and piece them together This feature alone would make this app a compete song builder please please please

I find a use for all the SessionBand apps I have, and this one is no exception. It's great for sketching out arrangements and practicing your instrument. My only complaint is that the piano parts are VERY basic. I could play better country piano parts, and I don't really play piano. I still like the app, though.

I'm a professional keyboard player from Nashville. As a musician, this app really needs full on minor chords, diminished and augmented chords. Slash chords would really help too. It does have great things like 9th's, but for country you have to have the above mentioned. Saying all this, it's still an unbelievable app and I have even considered doing a new album using just this app, then dumping the track into GarageBand and recording my piano there. It's a clean sound and very well done. I

Much more simple to use than Biab for Windows. And even though the variety of instruments is more limited, there are plenty of variations of song styles to suit most country, folk songs from about any era. You will have a suitable “bed” to build the rest of your song from quickly! Add your own vocals, guitar, mandolin, fiddle, dobro, etc. later after you send your song to garage band or cubasis etc. Don’t get me wrong Biab has it’s place, but this is about as close as you can get to Biab on ipad

This is a fun app that creates great tracks. The primary shortcoming, however, is the lack of a few critical features, including a minor triad and a 6th chord. This prevents the creation of a whole lot of country tracks, especially traditional country (eg, Earnest Tubb’s Thanks a Lot). Other misses include: stops only in a major chords, lack of a twangy telecaster, and no real sense of bluegrass rhythm guitar in the bluegrass tracks. I love the app but it hangs and freezes on the iPhone and I have to restart the app to play changes. I even upgraded from iPhone SE 2nd gen to iPhone 15 pro and it still freezes. I can run the app on my old iPad gen3 and it works fine. I need it to work on iPhone also without freezing causing restarting.

IF I had read the reviews first I wound not have purchased this app. The App does not support minor chords which are very common in country music. Without minor chords, the App is broken and of only very limited usefulness to me.

When I bring up an app, it freezes or will not play the music. It does not like Garage band as it will stop with it readily. UPDATES are needed
