Shantae: Risky's Revenge FULL App Reviews

I love this game I completed this game on the DSiWare version on the 3DS and I got the iOS version in 2021 when I updated my iPhone to iOS 16 it was working until I updated my iPhone today and now the game started crashing whenever I open the app. Can you update the app so then it won’t crash on the newer iOS software?

Hi wayforward once again (am a HUGE fan I even want to work there some time) and so Shantae is my favorite series I can’t stop playing,watching and listing to the music of Shantae I just wish that all the games where on iOS for $2.00 includes Shantae,Shantae and the pirates curse and half genie hero I just can’t stop Shantae I don’t want it to end and mabe in a few years I’ll help you and join your company,wayforward technology’s inc.

I really like the game and I would recommend it, but I ran into a bug at the Hypno barons place at that puzzle where you have to have two of those eye things looking down while the other two have to be looking up, I completed the puzzle but I ran into a bug where the door won’t open, I don’t know if it’s different for player to player since I was using a walk-through as I was really new, but I’m really confused as to why the door is bugging. I’ve tried everything I can to fix it but nothings wor

the Shantae series is a pretty cool video game series with fun games and this one is in the top 3 Shantae games along with pirates curse and half genie hero

I got this free when it was free for like a week and it was great. Thanks for porting it from the Game Boy Advance to the iOS. I never owned a GBA so this is great! 😄(⌒▽⌒)

Don't really know how to play like he instructions. I know how to use I controls just like where I'm suppose to go in the game. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!!!

Best game ever beat it in like two weeks. Shocking ending though it made me a little sad-mad.

Great game! It's a great adventure/platformer/RPG game. I loved the story, and I found myself laughing slot at the humor of the game. ^-^. I had a blast.

First, great game BUT I have one issue, for some reason after the first boss (risky's ship) the game crashes, so I essentially have an even shorter version of the demo

This is my favorite game. At first it was hard to get the controls down, but i got used to it quick. Also i love the music and characters, especially Shantae. Shantae is bae.

Love this game but it's very frustrating that it keeps crashing randomly and I loose any progress since the last save. This last time I lost about 208 gems and 10-15 min of progress. Please update for iOS 9 or fix crashing problem.

This is a borderline perfect game, aside from one big problem: IT CRASHES RIGHT AFTER THE FIRST BOSS FIGHT EVERY SINGLE TIME I TRY TO PLAY IT! PLEASE fix this!

As a fan of the series, this game is nothing short of what I have come to expect. Platforming with a digital joystick, though, just doesn't work.

This game is amazing overall- great story, interesting mechanics, attractive stylized visuals, and no bugs to be found. It's such a waste for this game to lose compatibility for the newest iOS. PLEASE ADD FORWARD COMPATIBILITY!!!

This game was totally worth paying for!!

That issue is that Shantae (on the GameBoy Color), Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse, and Shantae: 1/2 Genie Hero haven’t been ported to iOS!

Great game! Can’t wait to play the rest! I hope to see shantae in smash bros:)

THIS GAME IS SO NOSTALGIC I REMEMBER COMING HOME FROM MC DONALDS AND EATING CHICKEN NUGGETS PLAYING THIS LOL

Boss fights are wack, especially the last one because they were designed with a D-pad in mind. The touch pad is abysmal for boss fights, the only thing bugging me about this, besides that game play is great.

It gets 2 stars because the game is really fun - but the port is unplayable. It crashed about 20 times, and eventually crashed at the beginning of the final battle CONSISTENTLY to where I can’t even finish the game. It’s horrible
