I LOVE this app. It has saved my butt more times than I would admit. However, I HATE how poorly it scans, no matter how precise and clear the original image it scans from is. I wish they would somehow improve either that, or allow written edits and corrections when the app isn’t seeing something one knows is incorrect. However, for a poor reading musician such as myself, this app definitely has its advantages. I do hope the developers write in the user’s ability to make edits to where the obvio

Great resource not always 100% accurate but gives you a much easier starting point love it

This is an app for amateurs. It would faster for me to enter the notes into Dorico than to fix all of the egregious errors ( notes , beat errors per measure, ties , slurs ) From the XML file generated by this app. I spent hours trying to get the app to work . Then i auditioned another app and it worked flawlessly. This app is only $5 and it’s easy to see why the other apps are a subscriptions which cost $6/ month I have no idea how these people left good reviews for this app . Mind boggling .

From a picture hear the music. Quick, painless, forgiving of some questionable scans, software. Useful, recommended

Really solid app other than a few messes up here and there but i don’t know if i’m missing it but i want to check the date of when i scanned them and if there is a way please let me know how.

music scanning is still evolving. this app outperforms similar apps costing far more. if the developer keeps updating and adding new features, it will be the best in its field. very useful for hearing back your own compositions and as a practice aid. all music scanner make mistakes, but this is the real deal. ignore a few negative reviews from people that have unrealistic and unknowledgeable expectations about what music scanners are currently capable of. and for the price, this app is a steal.

I bought a meditation book that has sheet music inside of it. I was able to photograph the pages and hear the songs within minutes of opening the app. A wonderful, wonderful purchase!

Could you add drum set notation reading please! That would be so great!

I just needed something simple to practice to. I auditioned all kinds of desktop software - one even over $400. None worked as well as quickly as this app. I only wish I could get my time back from the trying out the other apps.

For five bucks, this app is hard to beat. It’s more accurate than software that costs ten times as much, and it’s super user friendly. Is too bad you can’t edit the music (move any improperly detected notes, add ones that were missed due to print quality) but at this price I can’t complain. Great for assisting with learning music.

Exactly what I expected it to do- it did. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I am worship leader at my church and my pianist wanted to perform a piece with me that she wrote. Needless to say it’s not anywhere online for me to learn by ear and I’m more of a poke with two fingers « chopsticks » kinda piano player. This let me scan in her sheet music and listen to it. Both piano by itself, vocal line by itself and both lines together. Thank you!

All music recognition apps are not perfect, but this is incredibly convenient and accurate for what it does. I especially appreciate being able to export midi and XML to be able to open up in Sibelius or Musescore for further editing. Beat some of the best desktop music scanning apps out there including Smartscore and Photoscore. Keep up the good work.

This app allows me to practice along with sheet music and see how the rhythms play out. Only thing missing is tempo clicks / metronome while the piece is playing. Other than that it’s a 5/5. I’m a nooby software engineer if I could contribute to this project myself I would !!!

This is amazing! I wish I had it years ago. The only thing is I wish it had a metronome that could play along with the midi. That’s all thanks for making this.
