Real easy to use and step by step instructions
I have trained for years and always looking for various way to challenge myself outside of traditional lifting the bar. This app does that for me. Recommendation to get the app and purchase the subscription.
Great app with engaging and dynamic workouts. Videos are helpful for new exercise. Customer support is helpful and nice.
Been using Shred for over 5 years now. Always has been easy to use.
The only at home workout that’s give me a solid 6 pack !
I have a small home gym with just dumbells, bench, treadmill, bike, resist bands, loop bands, kettleball, and a Total Gym. First off, the app is not accessibility friendly. I had to make my text tiny just to be able to answer the questions. And then after all that, the AI said it couldn’t come up with a program with the equipment I had. It told me to upgrade my equipment! And in the end it just tells you how many reps to do and I can get that on the internet. I’m sure this is great for lots of p
It really puts you in a tunnel. You need to be doing THIS exercise in THIS circuit. Well, if you need to skip to a different exercise for any of dozens of reasons, good luck. This one usability struggle is a deal-breaker for me because it takes the focus off pumping and onto the phone. Also: it’s too indirect to enter / review / edit reps and weights. So incorrect values get stored and good luck trying to correct them. Also: it didn’t have an exercise for a common ab crunch machine…? I rea
Found this app several years ago and loved it when it first came out. So many upgrades throughout the years have made it even better. All skill levels. From toning to bulking up and also you can pick the amount of time you have to work out. Some days you may have time for a 75 minute workout other days maybe only 30 minutes a this app can make it happen. Great customer service if you have a question or a suggestion. Try it out. You won’t regret it.
I absolute this app. I have seen a tremendous change in my appearance. This app helps me stay motivated and be consistent. I would like to see some changes or additions: During a workout, say I wanted to do a mini… or either of the three durations, and I decided at the end I am not fully done, it would be nice to add extra individual exercises so it logs it with my total workout. Additionally, I would like to see more data and reporting for month or month how I have strengthened by the amount
As someone who has been lifting weights for many years, I had hit a plateau in my progress and tried a ton of apps to help get me out of my rut. Shred is by far the best one I’ve used. It’s the closest one to having a real personal trainer by your side in the sense that it tells you how long to rest, how many reps, how much weight, etc. And it’s really good at altering tempos/shaking things up so that you’re constantly challenging yourself. Love this app!
By far the best exercise program — app or otherwise — I have followed. It gives you a varied workout and let’s you choose the muscle groups you want to target. Or, follow their recommendations! I’ve never been more fit or stronger.
App has a lot of potential but after the most recent update I can’t even use it to create and Back and Biceps workout. When I select those options it creates a Biceps and Triceps workout. I’m done with this app. Back to the old physical gym log. Subscription cancelled
Any chance/timetable when the app will be compatible with iwatch?
I’ve loved this app and have been using it for over a year. The newest Apple Watch app update has removed pretty much everything I’ve loved about the watch function - seeing the amount of calories burned, seeing the length of the workout. During my most recent workout, the watch app closed out about 45 minutes in. I reopened the app and saw the heart rate tracker was still on so i thought everything was okay, until after my workout i saw on the Fitness app that it only recorded 43 minutes worth
App gives so many different workouts
I change my 1 star to a 5 star as I realized (after the help of support) that I was missing the “basic” option. I’m back on track!! I loved this app. But after it updated I lost any ability for the free classic option. The only option now is to upgrade and pay for the app.
I love this app on my iPhone and especially the workout routine created by the trainers. The best part is goal setting and a reminder of percentage completion tracking. This makes me never skip my workouts and keep on track. I lost so much weight and gained leaned muscle because of this app in past 2 years.
Such a good core work out - thank you! Pushes you mentally as well as physically!
A good variety of programs have been using it for years. My only wish is that you make other people’s weight they put in for reps available to see on the muscle load leaderboard, so that way you can check if they are being legit with how much weight they are claiming to rep or just padding their stats.
I have been using Abs over 40 for about 3 years. Because of their supersets, I was getting a lot of joint pain. Shred have given been workouts where I am lifting more without pain. I love this app. I am sweating more than ever during a workout. I love this app
During exercise the UI has the largest space dedicated for some smart quotes. Use that for larger weight display or what is coming up … etc. buttons too small to insert and click on weight input during exercise. While drenched in my sweat and pumped with action. I have to really concentrate to click on things. Other than that, creative out of the box excersises that never leave you bored.
Finally and easy to follow customizable app that fits every individual’s lifestyle!
Going to the gym and not having to worry about putting a workout together is the best! The Shred up does that, plus so much more!
The way it engage user with workout is incredible. I never felt bored and repeatinf exercises everytime i worked out which keep the interest in using it further.
This app has a great design for managing workouts and progress. I appreciate the stylish UI. Customer services has been excellent so far.
By far the best exercise program — app or otherwise — I have followed. It gives you a varied workout and let’s you choose the muscle groups you want to target. Or, follow their recommendations! I’ve never been more fit or stronger.
You know it’s a good workout when you are cursing at the app! Great flexibility and options to customize.
Tried countless others. Been using shred for over two years and have zero complaints.
I have been using this for about 3 years. Use every workout. However after a recent update I miss when doing cardio, it would tell you what change is coming in last 5 seconds of interval. For example, before update, if I am doing a Quick Cardio on Treadmill and I am in a 30 second sprint at a 4 degree incline, during last 5 seconds it would say next interval to decrease to 2 degrees and do a jog. Now you only know when next interval starts. The advance notice was nice.
I’ve been using it for years now all I find are these personal training programs that are short 9 minute shreds or blitz.
I’ve been using this app for about a week now and every day that I use it I feel amazing! The workouts are really good for my body and what I need! It definitely is something to try out if you’re new to it and I’m glad I stumbled over this app on TikTok, because a lot of the different work out apps weren’t really good, but this one is! Thanks Shred!
I’ve been using Shred for over six years now. As a huge fitness buff I use many fitness apps and sent Shred developers suggestions for improvements over the years. We’ll Shred listened and recently upgraded their App by including AI tech taking customized workouts to the next level. Way to go Shred! Your App is now supreme once again!
Need iPad support, can’t rotate the screen, can only use app in portrait mode. Other than that the app is awesome and the workouts are great
Best workout app I have ever used, hands down.
I need to be able to know only swap onto the suggested exercises, but swap to my own. I see the option, but it won’t let me search.
Shred is the best workout app I’ve ever used. I spent years finding excuses to not go to the gym. And my workouts were always the same moves I only knew, so it going boring and I’d stop going. Shred not only gives me new fresh workouts daily, but also motivates me to go. With all the correct exercise movements shown with a video, you can’t go wrong. Seriously get this app and do something for yourself daily.
This is by far the best app I have come across is incredible!!! I strongly recommend it
One of the best fitness apps…no actually, THE best fitness app imo. Highly customizable, not boring ways to workout, various types of workouts and offers flexibility with exercises. Great for people with limited amounts of time. Also, the social support aspect of it is pure gold. Well done, dev team, well done.
Gay couple here. We both work out a lot. This takes away the decision making and honestly reduces arguments over form, what’s next, workout effectiveness. We love working out together with this app. Plus we are both seeing better results since starting this than we ever have, including past trainers and cycles.
Love the work out.
Great way to diversify your workouts especially on athletic setting for muscle confusion. I really like being able to track your weight with each exercise for progress as well
Love the variety of options. Body weight, gym, home, intensity options! Great!!!!
I’ve been using this app for over a year, although I don’t pay for it. It’s the best app I’ve ever tried. I recommend it.

I was excited to try this app but it’s lacking. First the flexibility is awful, allegedly you can select equipment or change it and the app will change the workout. Anytime I have changed equipment, there’s no workout available. Even for easy swaps of wanting to use kettle bells for upper body. The coach feature is a joke, it’s basically a lame chat box. Disappointed in the apps inability to adjust and offer up different workouts, the coach feature is worth $0. Overpriced as well.
I’ve been using this app for 9 months and I’m trashing it today. If you only work out 3-4 times a week, it’s fine. But for those who want to grind six days a week it’s nearly impossible to get a straight push/pull/leg split program set up. Every program has some kind of crossover, and while that’s generally good, it means you need to be really careful about doing one workout after another. I was hoping the AI coach would help solve this, and last week was push/pull/ legs like I wanted, but whe
