Sideline—Real 2nd Phone Number App Reviews

Amazing app. Love that I can change/Kill a number after 24hrs.

Love the app, but after latest updates I miss all text messages, no more sound or any other notifications of incoming messages, this issue makes this app useless in most cases!! I will change the review if developer fix this, but so far already few months nothing fixed. If you need just a second line for phone calls sometimes- app is ok , but if you need full service I will not recommended until they don’t fix the messages problem.

This app is the best calling service I've ever used, just like a traditional phone. I have a suggestion for the web app: it would be great if they could enable calling features, not just texting.

I can now contact my customers without having to give my personal number.🙂

Great app recommend to friends

I just signed up and ported my number from Text Now. Customer Support has been excellent and they guided me through everything from numerous questions to the actual porting process. Very impressed and far better than any customer service experience I’ve had with other providers!

There is a lot of spam calling. Several similar looking numbers call, then hang up. You block them, they just call with another. You call them back, the number doesn’t exist. Once in a while you hear some rustling or something then it stops, so you know someone is on the other line. Otherwise it’s not too bad.

So far so good

Perfect for work. You guys need to add the ability to mute conversations or mark things as unread.

Nicky from CS was great but a bit disappointed with Sideline. It actually goes down more often than many other text platforms. Also the company keeps zero records on billing. Hope it gets improved and fewer downtimes

I need more speed in the app

Have been a loyal customer for years, great features with random glitches I could get over. Not today. Lost all of my messages for the entire year, had multiple business conversations go poof with no phone call support available and text support saying there is no way to retrieve them. Looking for a new service.

You MUST give Sideline access to your contacts to change the ringtone. Read that again. That was confirmed by their tech support. Why would I like to keep my contacts from Sideline and whoever else they might share them with (intentional or not)? Because I hate all the junk I already get. It’s about trust. And that’s earned, not given easily in this day. Deleted app.
