SimpleMind Pro - Mind Mapping App Reviews

I really appreciate that SimpleMind doesn’t use a subscription model. I feel confident creating mind maps that I’ll be able to edit and view them for as long as I need. I don’t use mind mapping that frequently, so this is crucially important to me.

The app is cross platform. iCloud Drive sync with Windows takes a little time to set up, but works well. The app is performant and has a cohesive feature-set. User interface is efficient. Great job!

I just got it and I love it. Only had it a few days and made 10 maps. I wish it was one pro license for all devices.

This is the second memorable mindmap software I’ve used. Discovered it after the former one was suddenly unsupported. Other users referred this program and it hasn’t disappointed in anyway. I’ve noticed and to be noted it has replaced my notes app for the most part. It gets me where I need to go and have already gifted it to others.

Used it for a while, then paper journals for a while. Then looking for a mindmap tool and rediscovered it

I like it because it is simple, does not get in the way, but goes what I need efficiently and effectively. I am glad I discovered it. I use it regularly.

er… I am a writer. Very little brainstorming or creative issues get going WITHOUT a mind-map. There is, for me, only one app that meets my creative needs - SimpleMind. BTW - the expanding list of add-on functions, “ToDo’s” etc. are useful, just hope mind-mapping functionality is not compromised. Far prefer one app., doing one or a few functions well, than… not. Then again, I am a writer!

I was sad to no longer have iThoughts on my iPad and I'm very happy to have found this powerful alternative.

I was looking for a mind map app that showed for non hierarchical relationships (so not just parent-child) and that didn’t require a subscription and this has proved to be excellent. App is very fast, and good for taking notes on books, timelines of history, plotting out systems. I love being able to take notes inside of a bubble without that text taking up extra room on the map. Things I’d love: A faster and more intuitive styling system, better control over the line shapes that connect bubbles

Updates never disappoint. Great quality in the updates and upgrades of features and functionality. Great support. This remains my #1 choice for mind mapping. I’ve been using mindmaps since the 90’s [at Bell Labs]. There are plenty of products out there but for the Apple ecosystem, none better than SimpleMind Pro. Enjoy!

Easy enough for a beginner but enough zing, zang and bells for the most diehard mindmapper. Did I mention how reasonably priced it was?

What’s not to like about something that works! long-term support and development is unmatched.

I am an outliner. Helps to keep my mind in line. SimpleMind adds a visual aspect to this organization. I love it and have for years.

This is an awesome tool. Easy to use and the pro version can be used on different devices. I always have access to my notes/plans from my ipad to phone to computer. This is a big help in keeping account management straight and easy.

I’m an obsessive mind mapper who’s tested out many apps and programs, and SimpleMind Pro is hands-down the best. It does everything I want it to, nothing I don’t, and even their customer support is superb. I recommend to everyone.

I have a only a few issues with it - there’s a bit of a learning curve, and I wish it could export an outline directly to Word. But it is available on multiple platforms, and everything else requires a subscription. You should buy it. We need to support these people to keep this excellent program going.

Amazing how they continue to provide updates and improvements, been using for over half a decade

I’ve used this product for several years across multiple platforms. It always works and it always works well. Excellent import and export options make it one of the most productive parts of your planning toolkit.

Regular Updates. iOS, iPadOS, and MacOS integration. No annoying Subscription. Brainstorming feature to quickly input ideas without structure is super handy.

The software works great, however when I connect to OneDrive Business, the software reports an error and cannot connect. Please fix it asap!

Simple Mind Pro is the best mind mapping tool that exists for iPad. Its ease of use is wonderful, its functionality is basic, and its intuitiveness is natural. It’s one of the easiest apps I’ve ever used with my my Apple Pencil. It enables you to create visual representations of complex ideas in a way your mind wants you to see them on paper (and anyone else can follow.) Totally worth the cost and the value over time is incalculable.

Ive never left a review before but I’m an unorganized person who likes being organized so to me this app is a godsend 🤟🏾
