One must imagine Sisyphus happy

A good simulation

One must imagine Sisyphus happy

It does as I expected, as all should expect, it puts you through misery, knowing that you are the failure, you are the one who couldn’t keep pushing. But it gives you the feeling of being Sisyphus, you have one goal, one purpose, you know your purpose, and even if it is to try and try again, to never truely succeed, would you rather have no purpose at all? Or would you have one given by the gods themselves. One must imagine Sisyphus happy, this game helped me understand that.

Perfect

The negative reviews just don’t understand. It’s literally pushing a rock up a hill, the description tells you exactly what to expect. You are Sisyphus and the game perfectly captures that.

what am I doing….

it is not for fun, just to relax like knocking at a wooden fish

Satisfying way to pass time

I often play this while commuting on a train or bus. It isn't interrupted by the movement, and lets the journey slip by. Sisyphus's cycle up and down is meditative. I can see how this may not be for some people as there is no "winning" but I enjoy it.

It delivers perfectly.

Sisyphos is a fantastic game, one which does everything it claims to. It is tedious, boring, and repetitive. A perfect representation of the story of Sisyphus. The art style is plain, but pretty, the movement is janky at first, but can be mastered, and the sound design is pretty good. My favorite part is that it’s something to do while I watch YouTube, the YouTube screen fits perfectly above the game and is great for ADHD. 5/5, worth at least trying

Really helpful!

Really cool light game, I tend to go overboard on games. This is manageable not super stressful and helps me make unconscious connections to my hearing to reaction A+

Peak game design

This game isn’t supposed to be fun, and that’s why it’s enjoyable. It’s supposed to be torturous, and it’s exactly that, just like the Greek myth intended it to be. The game will make you feel like you’re making progress, but one small slip, and you’re done. failure is devastating, as it should be in a game like this. Losing can be incredibly frustrating, and you’ll likely give up. Highly recommend.

Not fun but very good for mental health

This game feels very frustrating but definitely helped me cope with my short temper

why push

me push rock, rock fall, me sad, me push rock again, me know me won't succeed, but me push rock anyways,me not enjoy it, but me like it, me recomend

Frustrating.

This game is so infuriating as a person with a short attention span, which makes it perfect. Just what I was looking for. This game isn’t hard or easy, it’s just extremely infuriating

Peak gaming.

It’s like getting over it, but worse, I love it, peak gaming. Remember me when this is fruit ninja level of popular.

One must imagine Sisyphus happy

This game is awful.

Existentialism: the mobile game

Brilliant. Ponder the meaningless of life while messing around on your phone. This is not really a game you’ll play for long but it’s a creative idea cleverly executed

Awesome

Reminds me of valorant ranked :)

I feel just like Sisyphus

It’s awesome, don’t get me wrong it’s awful but you get what you’re signing up for.

Not Sisyphus enough

There are peaks. Sisyphus pushed the rock without peak. I like this game but I would like it more if there was an unending hill with slowly increasing difficulty. Maybe ways to customize the cosmetics would be good as well.

Rok

Push rok feel good

Meditative. Like Daddy Long Legs, but somber

I don’t find this game frustrating. It’s in the same category as Daddy Long Legs, Verticow, Drop Not, Skyward, etc. The point is to get further each time. There are only a handful of achievements, and no cute, silly collectables most games in this category accrue. The biggest difference is that the pace of Sisyphos is more meditative. I can narrow my focus down to the placement of his feet, little changes in the path beneath him, and the pace of my breath. Is this therefore not fun fun? I supp

The secret to winning

For anyone that want to know how to win, don’t let the rock hit your face. It gets harder the further up the mountain you get but once you realize what causes you to lose then you also realize what you must do to win. It is endlessly so technically you can’t win but you can at least reach the top. I’m interested to see what high score people will get now knowing this.

Fun to a point

Counter to a lot of reviews, I found this game fun initially. The fun game from having a goal. First, learn the rhythm. Then crest the mountain. Then make it back. Then build a streak. However at that point you basically have no reason to continue. Sure you could build your multiplier to infinity and top the leaderboards, but I’ve found that I’ve no desire to return to this game that I consider good. Maybe that’s the point and that’s fine. My gamer brain just craves more goals to climb towards.

Sisyphus

The story of this game is amazing and reminds of the futility of trying to escape death. If you know the story you will enjoy this game
