It’s a good app

I like it very much

There are some problems with the new version, firstly since the new version you can’t share a photo etc directly from outside of Skype , with it, for example you can’t share a photo from the Photos app, you need to launch Skype then share the photo from inside a chat. Secondly, Skype doesn’t show you Excel or PDF file directly inside it, you need to open an Excel file or PDF file then share it with Excel or Adobe Reader to see the file. I’m facing with these problems since the new update of Sky

I’ve been noticing message notifications coming in at real time, but upon opening the chats, nothing new would appear, even though the person reaches out through other apps to say they’ve been messaging me. We use this app for work purposes, so to not receive these urgent messages is troublesome.

Before I use Skype since 3 years, and I was disappointed because we can send sms and don’t receive But now that is the best of the best Voice mail text message run perfectly Testing is adopted

Overall a very solid calling platform, especially in countries where alternative solutions are blocked (e.g., China, UAE, etc.). However, the UI is cumbersome and spam/fraud messages have become commonplace and troublesome.

iOS 16.1.1, iPhone 14 Pro Max. After pressing the End Call red button in the Skype app, the Dynamic Island green camera icon remains active, and the Active Call (Phone) app is still showing a call in progress. Then, pressing the End Call button in the Active Call (Phone) app immediate displays “Call Failed” and then the call actually ends. Please fix.

I find this app to be most convenient, useful and affordable when compared to carrier rates. Thanks Skype.

I have used Skype since 2003 from Costa Rica. I couldn’t have kept up with my family and business without it. I especially appreciate the free 800 calls. It is the Biggest Bargin in my family Budget. Bob Furlong

Skype is excellent. You can use it to make calls to any 800 number in the US as long as you have WiFi. This feature alone is great for me when I travel outside the US or need an alternative to call US 800#’s. Thank you Skype.

Stop sending me notifications for messages that were already seen

The ability to Skype my wife and daughter in the US is fantastic! I don’t have phone service internationally so Skype has been a godsend for coordinating our lives and travel in the near future. The quality of video and audio has been superb.

There seems to be a time delay between two people talking. And it would also be very nice if the user could sit there all notifications sounds and volume.

I love that I can talk to anyone anywhere!

Latest upgrade made skype slower. It takes longer to show messages upon opening when the app badge says there are unread messages. Latest upgrade Need Another Upgrade.

Skype shows a default notification “alert” after upgrade

Skype works pretty good once in a while it’ll drop a video call not too often but the voice calls work great.

The only reason I have this app is for work. One of the features on mobile phones is that I cannot react to messages when tapping the smiley face icon. I need to be able to react to messages. Been going on after each update recently.

This was a really good app and I can’t use zoom so thanks, and I think that’s all.

I’ve been using Skype for years and was able to reach my friends and relatives all over the world. Highly recommend it for all communication needs.

I’ve been using Skype for over 10 years. Have always enjoyed it. As always come through. I hope it stays the way it has been. But I see in the future things will be changing. Such a shame. Anyway I give it a good two thumbs up.

This app is so great it really helps

Audio works randomly so I’d have repeatedly call to watch a video with audio and that can be 20-30 times

I love this app and constantly use it everyday to talk; but lately all it does is keep freezing on my phone to the point i can barely finish or begin writing a sentence.

I wish they had a better formatting for text messaging such as putting texting bald, italic or making bulleted items.

I just wish they kept the remove yourself from the right screen camera box

I like Skype but here’s what I would love… a request meeting feature. I have a friend who lives in Asia (and I’m in the US) and between our opposing and busy schedules it is often difficult to coordinate when we will talk.

Best video quality in video calls but there is some bugs in recent updates that need to be fixed. Overall It is good.

This was good, but now everyone I try to go into the app, it always says INTERNET PROBLEM.
