Perfect for the universe but why pay to update😄🥰
It’s an amazing app that I’d recommend to anyone who has young children. Not only can you see the planets, you can see where the planets are located each night or day! It’s fascinating to watch the International Space Station and the Hubble telescope.
Upgraded to the paid version just because I enjoy the app and its quality, and the hard work of the developers. It’s cheap and permanent (transferred to my new phone with no issues). I use it often to identify any visible objects, including the numerous boosters and other objects in our orbit. I also appreciate the many options available in the settings.
One of the best apps I use. This app made me get interested in stargazing. I like the fact it accurately shows where the objects are. I just love it.
With this app you can look all the booster rockets from 🚀🛰️🛰️🚀50 years and it tells you the date it was launched, where and what it was for couldn’t believe how much trash is left floating around in space with nobody planning to clean it up.. it’s terrible and these humans do not represent humanity in general I would hope. God help us.
It’s always nice to see what planet or star is where. Thanks.
I went camping recently in Northen NH, and this app was SO amazing for that. I got to see exactly what was in the sky above me (and below me). Absolutely recommend this app to anyone who loves stars and the night sky, or is simply looking for some more education on the topic :)
This app is flawless. Love this app!
Nice for a general reference, but not very accurate. ISS was off by quite a lot, and the planets are not in the right position either. Other than that it’s pretty fun.
This App is a observatory held in your hand. The free version is decent but the paid version shows even space junk!
Comet C 2022 e3 🤘👽
This is an awesome app with so many great features. I have learned so much about the sky from this. Even during the day time it works. I love to see where the planets are within all the night time stars. The constalations just come to life with this app. This app brings the heavens to earth.
I spend entirely too much time, watching the sky and watching it via SkyView. I do enjoy it so mush.
I enjoyed the app when first downloaded but when I bought the full version the compass disappeared. I went to settings. The compass app is checked but no compass. I turned music off and it comes back on. A little disappointed. The settings do little.
I had the free version for years and when I got my 4 year old into Astronomy and showed her this on my phone, she always wants to view this app with me. I purchased the full version. She absolutely loves this. I’m absolutely depressed to see the amount of space junk we have allowed though.
I’ve had this app for over a year and it’s great. It’s amazing how detailed it is. Well worth the $2.99.
My husband and I both enjoy using the SkyView app especially with our grandchildren. It’s fun, interesting, informative and educational.
I’m in the ocean, living on a sail boat for one week. The sky is black and dotted with brilliant stars. Not a street light to be seen. I have my phone and this awesome app gazing at the amazing.
Just an amazing app. Fun and very educational. I never get tired using it.
I love skyview! It’s super easy to use, and I can have fun using it alone or with a group of family/friends. It’s pretty awesome to be able to open the app and instantly see & know more about what’s above me. Definitely recommend.
App generally runs amazing but it’s just been stuck on Ursa Major and no matter what I do it won’t move around.
I love this app.I use it every night..I am amazed by creation and it took the hands of a Creator not a big boom to place this beautiful ever changing universe in place..Every time I use this app it becomes more real to me..For those who you that put this together thank you as this is my favorite before I go to sleep at night or just need time to unwind..
I have shared news of the SkyView app with a dozen friends. We all sat for hours talking about how neat it is to learn what we are looking at. I used this app while camping in Grand Canyon. Just love it!
I love this app! I have had it on my phone for years and it is the one I use at least 2 x a week minimum. Ut is fantastic for all needs from astronomy to astrology. If you are familiar wii the house of astrology it helps knowing which sign I enters onto a new house or new phase! Great app to help kiddos see planets and understand what they see when they look up on the night sky!
I tried other ones and found them to be actually underwhelming. I can just spot a star or constellation that in the sky and find all the information in the app.
I love this app! I love looking at the stars and this makes it that much better.
I love this app I use with planet finder , it takes you to a whole new world, and it’s amazing how much space junk we have, most planets have asteroid belts we have space junk belts lol .GREAT APP WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!!🛸👽👀✌️
This app is truly incredible. No other words are needed. It’s worth the money.
Everyone should have this. The most educational and informative app ever made.
It’s specially great when NASA sends messages about the trajectory of the International Space Station because the app helps me to distinguish it from other celestial bodies. Than you.
This app is amazing! The details and information. I look at this for hours some nights
Must get! Comprehensive, intuitive, flexible, and easy to learn.
Great app but Apple’s white swipe bar at the bottom needs to be autohidden or colors to match the screen when in Night Mode. I used the app recently in a remote area with excellent visibility of the sky and this the night was very dark (besides the sky and stars). I used Night Mode to not affect my night vision, but the swipe white bar was blinding. I had to use my thumb to block the bright white light on the otherwise red screen. Please disable, auto hide, or recolor the white swipe bar when in
I’ve been using this app for awhile and it’s great! For people having issues with compass location, make sure you have compass calibration turned on in settings. Go to Settings | Privacy | Location Services | System Services Verify Compass Calibration is enabled. Hope this helps!
I happened to notice that the app icon shows Ursa Major having only six stars connecting with the constellation lines instead of seven. It’s a small detail that I noticed being a little off but I have no complaints about the app itself. I have been using it for quite some time and absolutely love it!
Live this app. Great way to learn.
Simply put this app is amazing.
This game needs a telescope or maybe there is one but I don’t know if there was a telescope for this app I will be happy it will be expensive tho i don’t know what to say
…the app tells you what you are looking at. I’ve had this for years, since at least iPhone 5. Awesome app.
I’ve tried out a lot of the Astronomy Apps and Skyview is clearly one of the best and easiest to use. It doesn’t have a 100 million stars that I know of, but almost anything you can actually see it covers. It’s colorful, and has the planets, stars, constellations, etc, but it also has earth’s satellites which are very interesting. It even has the Hubble Space Telescope. On top of all that, it’s a fair price. I’ve tried a lot of the Astronomy Apps, but I always go to use Skyview. The interface /
I can’t seem to get the app to calibrate and I’m not resetting my phone. I have deleted the app and re installed it, I have done all the things it suggested to try, and still it won’t work. I used to be able to open the app and point my phone at an object in the sky and it would show me if it was Jupiter, Saturn, etc. now it’s stuck . Please advise how it I fix cuz I just spent $3 on an app that’s broken 😞
I’ve loved this app for years, but recently it no longer calibrates to the sky and just stays stationary. Very disappointing, hopefully it’s just a bug that can be resolved!
If you looking for planets, stars, ISS, or a random old rocket body this APP has it

Location ability = ZERO. Did I buy the premium version? = YES. Did I waste my $$? TOTALLY
Ever since the camera stopped working my rating dropped. I enjoyed sharing the pictures in real time on my social media feeds.
