there really should be an option to select everything. I was trying to see what satellite was crossing over, but having to select every category is tedious and takes a little bit of joy out of using the app. Otherwise, this is a great app to have. I'm not disappointed in my purchase at all.
Great app, you won’t believe how many satellites are above you right now.
Blown away with the accuracy and depth of information given about every satellite.
this was a very good app slowing you to look at a lot of satellites only complaint was images a low ish quality.
Besides some craziness with trying to move the globe around, it does what it says it will do. The database of satellites however is missing many of them.
Incredible information about what I am seeing in the sky. Fun to identify what stars and planets I am looking at and what is beyond the clouds. Sad to see how much junk is out there though. Looks like we are polluting space like we are polluting down here on earth. I now believe that the biggest danger in space travel will be getting hit with our trash we have left behind.
Love the app! I’m an old timer that started using a program called InstaTrack back in the day. I’ve used this app for awhile now. Many people have commented on letting the display throw everything at you that is in the sky. I believe they developed this precisely to allow you command of the space object catalog without being overwhelmed. As a person becomes more comfortable with looking for objects of interest, the intuitiveness comes in with it. It can be a parlor game, or a tool for more
Quite helpful for using with my Celestron NexStar 4se! Absolutely recommend
I will give this Tri-quarter app five stars because I’m able to track each station individually. I wish I could have both at the same time. Also, the app says the Tiangong is no longer orbiting??? Which it is. The updates haven’t corrected this error.
I have been using the app for less than a year. Awesome guide at night to find satellites in orbit within your view. Highly recommend!
How often do you add satellites? Please add xrism.
Have had the App for a bit and just getting to really use it. Like it so far once you understand how to use it.
Very helpful!! I've being using this app around the world, sometimes still during the flight!!! Works perfectly!!!
Why gave a three star rating, at first I was able to see the pictures of the debris now I only see the color dots for the debris and I can’t find how to set it again if that’s possible or else it would have been 5 rating
Could be improved by increasing the catalog of Satellite data that is freely available online. Can’t find basic things like ESA Sentinel-1, 2, 3 etc.
I use this app most every night I am out. Currently tracking the space station. They are transmitting slow scan TV photos for everyone on earth to capture for the own photo library. Thanks for a great App. Is this available for desktop computers??
I loved this app and now I seeI can no longer use it with iOS 11 wish for uptates.
I love this app, it makes the sky so much fun. I'm just so disappointed that when I update to iOS 11, it will no longer work. I sincerely hope that somebody will update it. We'll all be so grateful.
Love this app. Would even pay a yearly subscription for it but when will we see iOS 11 support?
Please update app for iOS 11. I loved using this app, but now it’s not usable at all on the latest iOS software.
I love this app but I can’t use it now until there’s an update. Will they update it??
Thank you for updating this app!!
In Oregon and believe it or not, have clouds! This is great while in the hot tub wishing for a sky
Enjoy watching is great way to see the earth, and just relax
Can’t stop looking for new satellites, there is just to many to count! I would of rated it a five star, but I would have liked it if I could have looked at satellite and taken it into AR and seen it in my house
Love this as a newbie to all that is above me in the night sky!
I really like this app but will it ever be updated? Would love to see the Starlink satellites that are being deployed like you can see on other satellite viewing apps.
A decent app for free. I love it, can find stars, planets and constellations. Good app to locate space station an satellites and debris
Update: sharing fixed!!! App looks good, but I am unable to get family sharing to work with this app and app support
5 Negative User Reviews for SkyView Satellite Guide
And I can’t select all the satellites, have to look at different categories, like brightest. Just ok…
Won’t work with most recent iPhone’s iOS
Was a great app until ios11 broke it. They still haven’t updated it so if you have iOS 11 it won’t work. Hope they fix it someday
It included all of the amateur radio satellites. The app should allow the end user to specify URL for TLEs for satellites.
I had hoped this app would tell me when the Starlink satellites would go over but no.
