It’s simply the best. Long flight? Sink your teeth into this. Watch Northernlion play this, and you will understand how much fun it is
Hundreds of hours played on Steam (desktop and Steamdeck), now I can pass the time more conspicuously on my phone 😈
It’s a complete game, what more can you ask for? Yes some devices don’t always work flawlessly at first. But it’s a good game and no run thru is ever the same. Cell service or wifi are not required to play. No ads. I’ve got probably 200+ hours into it. Purchase once and play on any of your apple devices.
Loving the game but the font size is WAY too small — changing the game setting to “big text” doesn’t do squat. Please increase the font size!
I’ve taken down this spire so many times my boyfriend wants to leave me!
I play this game a lot on PC and switch. It’s fun having it on the iPhone, but so so slow. A few things about touch screen behavior in this game bother me: on full-touch screen iPhones it is really really difficult to use the screen function to move out of the game to other apps. It’s right in the same place on the screen as where you select cards and I have frequently accidentally played cards while trying to swap out of the game. It also for some reason will randomly pull a card slightly upwar
The game is very fun.
I bought it yesterday and played for 13 hrs already. It’s really addicting and fun. It’s challenging, but not to the point where you want to give up once you figure things out. I will say the UI can be a little frustrating when you’re in battle. I’ve had it “auto select” cards before and didn’t realize so I accidentally played it.
If you want to get a winning run you have to rely on getting good relics from mini bosses so it ends up being a lot of trial and error with no real path choice
Really hard to read what cards do because your finger is blocking the pop-up. No explanation for some of the effects
One of the greatest game of all time
Great game but please support controllers (backbone one)
Please give controller support
Ever since the new update, it now says “Syncing Data” in huge letters across the top right of the screen. It’s incredibly distracting and completely unnecessary. That can probably be re-hidden in a future update, I hope…
One of my absolute favorite games in the world, it’s now a favorite past time of mine. A fantastical fantasy with 4 different characters that keep me entertained for hours each day I feel like playing it 4 years after I got it in the first place!
I love this title, but after a recent update, after every move, the words “Syncing Data” flash annoying on the screen. Can we get rid of that?
10/10 game, but mediocre port. It's playable, but the capped low framerate (even on M2 iPad Pro) and various minor interface issues hold it back. I would love an update that would take advantage of the 120hz display on the iPad Pro line.
I do not understand why this isn’t rate five stars. I read people complaining about the port - which means to me that there must be a better version on some other platform but who cares… this one is good enough for me. It is one of my favorite iPad games and it makes a multi-hour plane flight seem to go by quickly. I have absolutely gotten my moneys worth.
Can you please enable support for backbone
I’m not sure why everyone is complaining about the port. Everything works fine. This is a quality game, it’s up there with Dead Cells and Stardew Valley. Games like this should be supported. All the miserable microtransaction free to play not free to play games need to die. Gaming on the iPhone is a market that could be so much better.
The game is very good. But iOS only 30 frames.Android has 60 frames. Hopes it can be solved. Thanks!
Too bad my save got deleted for no reason
I absolutely love this game. When will the expansion come to iOS?
I love this game and Backbone support would be amazing!
Love the game and would really love backbone support.
This is my favorite game, so I was glad to see it on mobile. However, there are some tiny bugs and few issues (the first card you click each turn doesn’t register, the map button, deck button, and settings are all VERY close) but for the most part, great game.
Awesome game. Highly recommend. Would love it even more if it added controller support.
Thanks for the amazing port! Would you consider adding controller support?
Gameplay can be fun, I’ve got hundreds of hours on PC. The port performs poorly. People will say they don’t notice the issue with locking it to 30fps, but you should ignore them because they probably watch movies at 360p on their small phone. It isn’t a demanding game and 30fps looks and feels sluggish. Also, a quick reset button should’ve been implemented to the base game years ago.
It runs at a very low fps and it has some issues like cropping well to an iphone screen. Some edges like where you profile name can be a little cut off or when a status effect on the enemy appears will float off screen. It could have been a way better port but they didnt put enough effort in to make it amazing. The only reason I rate this so high is that the core gameplay loop of slay the spire is so fun that you honestly learn to ignore the bad port and still enjoy the game and try to make a cr
Although I’m a huge gamer on PCN console, this is one of the few mobile games that I play. And I play it incessantly. And I don’t even like card games! This is an astounding, high-quality experience. I adore the nuanced gameplay, the art style I grew to really appreciate, and the hints of lore are tantalizing. I’ve gotten my whole family into it! No bugs, no issues that I’ve seen. Has always been nothing but rock solid for me. iPhone 13 on 15.5.
Love Slay the Spire. This port needs work in some areas, but overall still fun. Can’t give it 5 stars tho. For some reason I no longer get game music. Tried many things and no luck.
Love the game, need controller support
Having a blast playing this game, but I wish it worked with my backbone controller :(
Needs controller support
Fantastic game, but not 5 stars without game controller support
As a lifelong strategy game enthusiast, I can confirm this game has near perfect balance. It gets better the more you play it.
杀戮尖塔是我玩过的超棒的卡牌游戏!非常推荐!特别耐玩,卡牌宝物特别丰富!推荐试试!
400+ hours on this “port”
And for good reason, yes technically there was a few before this but this is THE game that put the genre on the map, and for good reason. The gameplay is solid, good music, and fairly good visuals
I have over 400 hours and am still learning and improving! Very fun and compelling!
I know it seems silly for a mobile phone, but I really like playing this on Xbox with controller. iPad would be awesome too.
This game looks simple, but actually is very deep and interesting. Every run feels unique and even after a week of playing there's so much more content to explore. This game is one of those who will be remembered after decades.

Where's the watcher?
I love this game and absolutely recommend it on PC, but the button and text size is so small on iPhone that it’s hard to even press the buttons on the tab at the top. Please fix.
