Some networks go in and out and it makes them virtually unwatchable. Will cancel until there is a fix.

One of the more reasonable , of streaming cable services. $40 base, while their combo plan(Orange and Blue) is $55, is not a bad deal. Also their freestream has DVR, which is free. The app is easy to use.

I just started my subscription again and love the usability and channel variety on this service. I just wish there weren’t so many ads!! Also, is it necessary to put ads in the middle of a person’s sentence?! DVR helps

They have what I like but I can’t connect more than half the time all other apps I have work great but sling has major glitches they don’t seem to address EVER !!! Being the most expensive app I have I may not have it much longer if this keeps up I’ve had it 2 months and it has been a drag most of the time

All other devices containing the Sling application include the Fox News channel with the exception of the iPad. Is there a reason for this?

I resubscribed because I thought I was gonna be able to watch SEC Network and it’s not on either sling blue or sling orange and it’s not in the add-on sports extra package either. Otherwise if you don’t need local channels it’s pretty decent. Yout advertisement before I clicked cancel, showed me you have it in your app. I double checked the channel lineups and didn’t see it.

Competitors have much better recording and dvr functionality. Sling you only get 50 hours unless you pay a premium and then it’s still only 200 hours. But much more annoyingly, when you select record for a show that’s playing, it only records from the point where you started recording. Competitors record the entire show from the start for you. Sling’s packages are so bizarre. Just all around, so much of what they do seems arbitrary and irrational. I bet their IT chief is some old dude.

Been a user of the app for about a year. It has an immaturity in its refresh design. When you leave a category such as NEWS listing to watch a channel full screen, when you return to the listing of NEWS channels, you don’t get where you left off; you get a corrupted smaller selection that requires hitting the NEWS selection again. This is Mickey Mouse coding if you can’t retain a prior query and present it to the user. Who’s running app design? Fire ‘em!

App does not synchronize time between platforms well at all. Using Samsung Smart TV, game is consistently significantly ahead or behind in time of where I was watching it when transferring to my phone.

After the update, I lost my local channels.
