Hey! I wanted to get this app because i thought it’d be cool. Then I saw that you offered sign language as an option and I really wanted to do that. But then I tried to create my sign language letter and…well I can’t because it only allows typing…. I understand that there is most likely very few people on the app with asl, but if you’re gonna offer it please make it work. I would appreciate a response if possible but if not I understand. This should be ashamed of having a Columbus Day stamp. Do yourselves a favor and read the true history of that slave driving liar. Don’t listen to HIS-tory taught in schools. Is all I’m going to say. Should replace that with Indigenous Peoples Day stamp.

it’s so entertaining to read and write letters

I am really liking this app. A little bit of old school letter writing…. just using your cell phone to do it. You meet some rally cool people here and get to learn about different cultures and nationalities. It’s a wonderful app. Give it a try!!!

This is such a great app! I am very introverted and I have social anxiety but this app has allowed me to make friends comfortably and create meaningful connections. I’ve been using the app for maybe a year or so now and here are my thoughts: It would be nice to have options for font type and paper type to customize our letters and give them a more personal feel. The jump from 0-20 is a lot. I am 19 years old but I’m fine with meeting people who are 18-19 and not just 20+. I have 0-20 selected so I can meet people around my age but there’s so many 15-16 year olds that it’s hard to find someone even close to my age. Besides that I love this app

Please add more hair choices!!! i.e long locs, wavy bangs, etc. other than that it’s great :)

I’ve met a few friendly people on this app but I recommend using other penpal apps/sites

I like this app so much. The only problem I had was that my phone started glitching maybe a day or two after I got the app. I thought it was maybe something with my phone. I had my phone checked and it wasn’t the problem . I really didn’t want to remove this app but I needed to see if it could be related . After removing it , my phone started working fine again. Has anyone else had this problem? It’s really a great app , I would love to try it again.

Colour is a fine pen pal. I would highly recommend him Is interesting and fun and returns mail in as timely fashion.

Slowly is great when you reach out to other people on the app to get to know them more instead of waiting for letters.It took me some time to come up with a profile.Talking to other people around the globe makes the world look even smaller.Everyone on here wants to connect and learn other languages that it prompt me to want to challenge myself and learn other languages.I wanna move and be able to b apart of an culture.

I love this app and the fact it is LGBTQ friendly and all, but I don’t like that after two chances to make your Profile with your pronouns you have to pay afterwards. I was struggling with my gender and now I have to be stuck with “female” as my gender option. It is fine though because the rest of the app makes up for that! Other than that the things you have to purchase with real money is low! You don’t have to purchase anything important to writing letters!

This app is one of the most calming app I’ve ever seen. I’ve met so many wonderful people, learned so many new things, and slowly healed my inner anxiety. The joy and excitement you get waiting for a letter to arrive is so pure and genuine. The daily quotes, personal letter function, and character customization add to the fun factor. Highly recommend.

I love this app so far. Before, I wasn’t into the pen paling stuff but after owling from a site called Hogwarts Extreme (HEX), thought why not try it. I gave it a shot and voila, I really enjoyed pen paling with few good people. The only problem I have is you’re required to type a code from your email and type that code in before logging in since majority of apps only want you to type the password. Other than that, love this app and am looking forward to stick with this :)

It takes several attempts to get into the software and often gets stuck in a certain interface. I want to optimize this problem.

I’m liking the app very much. This is for the people who want to connect with others but are very pessimistic on their profile. It’s a real turn off writing all the ❌things ❌you ❌dislike❌, listing requirements like a dating website and demanding how people should introduce themselves…If there are people insulting you, report them. It’s a happier place if people are not taking things so personally. Not everyone will respond, those people are not worth energy because real friends are ready to chat

I am having so much fun talking to people from around the world, learning about their cultures, and receiving photos. I may never get to visit these countries, but I can “see” them and learn about them. I’m also using it to connect with people from the countries my ancestors are from, and learning the cultural details that have been lost over the generations.

Only issue I have is while sending voice memos it seems it takes forever to send. Currently I am fighting with the all to send my letter. If it weren’t for that I would have given it 5 stars!

It just might be an issue on my end, but whenever I launch the app, it won’t load. I close out and launch it again, but still nothing. And even when I do get through to the app, all the features are so slow to load. I know it’s not my internet connection as my other apps work just fine. There’s something odd for some reason.

The idea is unique but the users profiles don’t require descriptions besides broad interests and the app has a retention issues with its user base.

I really love Slowly! It’s a great way to meet new people across the world and I’ve actually been able to make some really strong connections!

Writing and reading are both respective art forms which we seem to have lost with the advancement of technology. It’s incredibly refreshing to see this app being people closer together through traditional means. One of the best services I’ve used in a very long time.

Supper easy to use. Most people are friendly but don’t feel guilty if people make you uncomfy

i loved this app! i made some great friends through it and have no problems! however, can you please add the option where we can sign in through our nickname? bc i can’t access my account and i only know my nickname. this would really help me!

I personally have trouble speaking to people face to face so this app has helped me make friends without my anxiety getting in the way. The wait is annoying but it also builds up excitement

Love the app! Been enjoying it for a year or so now. But please stop adding unnecessary features to it, it’s already great and is doing the greatest thing: connecting people.

Quality conversations. Great matching. I only wish there were more options for interests like specific fandoms or genres of movies.

So far I love this app. The options, info, and UI are great but if I could make one request it would be to show the travel time for letters you are sending, too. That way you know when your recipients should receive your letter.

Quite simply, SMS texting was a mistake.

Love it from the beginning. You can make friends anywhere. And by writing real letters you can know yourself better and meet a lot of people with you same interests. Besides it teaches you patience.
