I have a huge collection of digital comics I’ve been acquiring from Humble Bundle over the years. Before this app, there was no comfortable way to read them on my phone, since I prefer smaller devices. This app works better than some of the comic readers made by much larger companies. Plus, it doesn’t collect data. What I read stays between me and myself. When I say this is the best comic reader in the store I do not mean that it is the best in its category. I mean it is the best. Full stop.

I have all my of digital manga backed up as .CBZ files and this does an awesome job of importing through iCloud files. If the developer wanted to make a premium paid version (one time fee NOT subscription) for a few extra features, I’d happily throw some money to support.

I’ve tried countless readers out there but none are as nice as SCR. Not only does it accept any format, but it also maintains your precise location without slowing anything down. Its actually my goto for important pdf documents that I want to maintain my place in. I’m studying for my life insurance license and need to be able to pause it like a video game. I can effortlessly pick up exactly where I left off and keep on going. If I want a break I can switch to a comic and relax. Thanks for a wond

The app is clean, follows Apple’s design guidelines, and feels like it was written in SwiftUI, but the most impressive part is the smart panel zoom feature. It’s actually really, really good. The animations switching from panel to panel add some extra drama to the experience. Hard to explain, but it elevates the experience.

1st of all, I LOVE this app. Well made app, good UI, and it connects to iCloud! I was just hopping that they could add scrolling option for page turning. Now it only flips pages. I don’t mind it when I’m reading comics, but for some kind of documents and textbooks I prefer scrolling because the pages are connected right to left.

I have a number of digital comics and those app does a good job with them. I have no complaints!
