I live in a rural area, and the major weather apps report the weather from the closest city, which isn’t very close. Snowflake is more hyper-local, I assume because it is based on DarkSky weather. Works well with Apple Watch as a complication, though it helps to have a more modern iPhone than my previous XR.
mostly fine, works well, seems to have a different source for weather data than Apple’s weather app. accurate enough for my needs. my problem is that about every fourth or fifth launch/relaunch, the app will lock up for ~45 seconds or so and then drop me back at the springboard like nothing happened. if i launch it again, it opens quickly and correctly. been like this for a LONG time.
It combines the top 2 or 3 features from each of my other weather apps. Quickly became the one I use daily.
I really like this app. It’s hard to find a privacy focused weather app, and when I do they usually charge way too much for features I don’t care about. Glad this app sticks to the basics.
I love this app. The data is so well visualized. Excellent line graphs. As a user of this team’s world clock app, I love the sun and moon data. Thanks for providing that info, I miss that old app.
Thanks for adding the new widgets. This is my favorite weather app for iPad.
I consider this to be a very fairly priced app when comparing to other popular weather apps that allow for service provider switching. Many of those cost much more per year than this app. I hope iOS 14 widgets are in the works!
Hope iOS 14 widget is in the works because this is my preferred weather app.
Seems to focus on cramming in a volume of info instead of browsability. I’ll update this when I can replace Dark Sky with it, but it’s not currently competing on price or function.
I do love this app really it got great information but syncing with the watch requires a number of steps and is not always on the first try. That said this is one useful app!!!!! Thank you
Apple Watch complications and forecast broken. H/L #s incorrect. Example is H:140 L 37. Also still no way to access locations from main page. Radar in Apple Watch and alerts still missing.
Beautiful, fast and extremely detailed. Happily signed up for the subscription!
This app is well worth the money! It is very well built and thought out. I don’t mind paying a few bucks for a high quality app. Great job guys! 😀
Would be a 5-star app if it sent notifications. Don’t know why folks are griping over the price. It’s literally a bit more expensive than a value meal at a fast food restaurant so eat a bologna sandwich and invest in this app...
Informative with great design. Would like estimated amount/quantity of rainfall, if possible (using Dark Sky as provider which provides this information).
The base app without the IAP does so little it should be a free app. There should be at least the basic radar screen included in the base app. This is really a $5/year app for it to be even a little useful.
A PAID weather app in 2020 has to be phenomenally great. We have had weather apps for 10 years now.... Do use the app space better, 1 pixel icons are junk. You have my money, be better than Carrot, dark sky and iOS
I tried to like this app but like others having been persuaded by a review to pony up, the AW watch complication is totally borked so app is useless to me.
I don't know why I purchased this. I have six weather apps (ok, I'm a weather junkie). This is by far the worst, even if you pay for a subscription. I feel ripped off.
Recommended by Rene from imore 🚧 give me a pay once to unlock all options please🚦 🚧 way too many clicks to change location. 🚧 font size is too small, because they pack so much good info onto the screen. Catch 22 in this instance.
$5 for a weather app and they make you pay more to get the weather maps. Really? A classic example of why we need a 15 min time limit to remove apps and be refunded. Uninstalled.
For $4.99 the app should include weather radar. It’s ridiculous that it doesn’t. I feel like I wasted my money.
For the price of this app, there’s not much here you can’t get for free. The only way to see radar is to pay a monthly fee. Don’t waste your money.
