SolarWatch Sunrise Sunset Time App Reviews

This app works smoothly and lets me change which solar events/times I see at a glance. The widgets on my iPhone 16 Pro, Apple Watch Ultra and new iPad are intuitive and being able to set alarms is a fun feature.

The app used to have a feature where you could spin the sundial like a touch wheel to quickly see the change in sunset/sunrise times, but they deleted that feature for some reason. I loved how quick and intuitive this was. That’s the only thing I need and used the app for, and I haven’t noticed any other change that would require that feature to be removed.

iOS Siri announcements ceased to do so. Just sound and haptic.

buying the trio of wind, and…. actually, that app is “Sun Seeker” completely different app. This is my first time trying this one so gonna stick with its competitions five star superiority until further review.

Legit, I love the way the widget looks. Circle > dot on a graph looking thing.. Easier to visualize than other similar apps and widgets!

Essential tool for drone flight. Gives important information about flying at sunset and sunrise. Great for time when best mapping images can be obtained.

Simple, but great app. Beautifully designed and developers that are responsive and listen to feedback.

App has a lot of functionality that I personally don’t really need ( but might appeal to many people ) but it’s great for concisely showing me temperatures and sunrise and sunset times for my location in a beautiful and visually aesthetic way. In the past there were some aspects of this app that disappointed me but the developer is very responsive to bug reports and feedback and I look forward to continuing to use the app.

Had a glitch recently where I lost the SolarWatch complication on my Apple Watch and it made me realize how often I use it. To plan when I need to be back home to take in the laundry dryer outside, to see if I can get a walk in before it gets dark, and to help me see that the days are getting longer when it feels like winter will go on forever. Plus knowing the optimal time for those sunset pics off the California coast. For me a must have.

I think it is a nice app with decent widgets. But why in the world does it have like five subscriptions? Money, I suppose. But still, for a minimal and clean app, it’s stupid to have that many subscriptions. Also, what comes with each subscription? Notifications? More widgets? Nothing?! Overall, I’ll take it

This is probably the, most useful app ever for when looking for a good spot by the pool or on the beach to get more or less sun for how long. Pretty cool

I wanted an app that had all the time features ie civil thru astronomical nautical etc,This is it!!!!

Complication stopped working on Apple Watch Smart Stack recently. When it was working. I loved it. One other minor complaint is that when it was working, it only displayed 3 time slots: and I’m interested in 4 pieces of data: sunrise start, sunrise end, sunset start and sunset end.

That is terrible

Had a dark spot on the widget part for the app which is gone now. Only thing is that it seems to have gobbled up the payment method. Free version works great so I wouldn’t mind paying the one time payment option for the good work. But it doesn’t seem to have the option anymore.

Have this on my Apple Watch and iPad, and I no longer have to guess when to record night flying or landings for currency.

Widgets have suddenly disappeared. The widget stopped updating, now they're gone completely?

TLDR: widgets do not work. I have one aim: to display sunset and sunrise times on my lock screen. You must purchase “Gold” version of SolarWatch to do that. I downloaded app & started free trial. There are small square widgets for displaying “Next Sunrise/Sunset” and “Next Solar Event” on Lockscreen. Even after enabling GPS for app & restarting phone, both widgets displayed times at least 90mins off actual sunset/sunrise time. I’ve wasted enough time w SolarWatch. There are other apps that co
