Speedometer Speed Box App Reviews

I drive an old truck with a temperamental speedometer. This app works great for monitoring my speed and keeping up with mileage for oil changes. I’ve recommended it to others, and would would be lost without it.

Have had this app for a long time, several iPhones later it’s still with me. Great for boats with old or no speedometers and fast cars who’s speedometers just can’t keep up with the real top speed.

I downloaded this a few years back, and it really has come in handy. I don’t use it all the time, but it is great to have when you need it. I believe it to be very accurate with speed, distance and elevation. Heads up display is pretty cool too.

Been a great app for a few years now. Still a little buggy when you go from hamburger view to hotdog view or vise versa and you’ll have to close the app and reopen again to fix it. Works great though and seems to be accurate.

Perfect for what I need! Speed, audible warning when preset speed is exceeded, and mileage between fill ups. The cost is minimal for what you get. The only thing that seems to be lost from earlier versions is that it turns itself off while I’m driving. I must keep a finger on the display to keep it running continuously. I don’t think I’ve reset something that was previously ‘ON’. Otherwise, it would be a 5 star rating from me.

Just got the paid app. Haven’t even tried it out yet but looks good. Simple, yet with the needed info. Will update review as I use it.

What would make it better is if there was a way to use it for directions also or be able to have it as a widget or something of that sort for the people who need to be able to see the map while following directions.

This is what I was looking for. I Like the options and the speed on the maps, however can’t find how to change it back to just the speed meter from the maps view. Otherwise it’s fantastic and works well on my iPhone 12 running iOS version 15.3.1

Accurate, multiple displays, adjustable speed range, additional info like altitude, fastest speed, average speed, others. Love it!

Got this app to know how fast we were traveling from Barcelona to Madrid. No info available on speed. Says the gps is not accurate
