This black owned app is revolutionizing how we communicate on social media. A place that is truly for black individuals and also created by black individuals. This app has so many amazing things that it is constantly doing in order to really curate some amazing conversations.

The positivity and community vibe, is everything that a platform like this should be. The levels of engagement are amazing.

I cannot log in to my account because my account has my old phone number linked to it. There should be other options to log in without using a phone number. They should fix that!

Spill is the app where I spend most of my time now. It is a safe, no negativity space where the developers actually respond to the users and take their concerns into consideration. It’s fun, the users are hilarious and they have great merch. THANKS SPILL!!!

The app is decent. But there are some weird design choices still. Idk how to explain it but it has pieces that works together but then things that dont Like search… doesn't seem to be that useful because searches seem limited. You can only search for users and hashtags?? - you guys have to fix that. MultiImage posts on profiles dont show the images just an icon. Meaning you have to tap, view the post to see if its interesting or not, its a waste of a tap. The hashtag dropdown seems to show popul

Only social media app that isn't bombarding us with useless ads. People genuinely just want a social media app to be a social media app and that's what this is.

Spill is a refreshing take on social media. I love that it is a place where I can retreat instead of being bombarded and overstimulated on other apps. No one is trying to sell me anything here. There are no influencers. It’s just good vibes and good times. Is it perfect? Nope! But neither am I, and nor are you so just tamp that lil expectation down and enjoy the zen of spill.

The updates are constantly good & the overall vibe/experience is worth the growing pains imo. MAIN ISSUE is for a long time now when I click the person who interacted w/ my spill, it goes to my profile not theirs. Directly affects ability to connect w/ ppl. Glad this exists! Hope we can continue to keep it positive & truly for the culture. I do wish we could quote people’s funny quotes though..

Finally a place where I feel safe! Kudos to the creators of Spill and also their customer support who helped me recover a previous username. The app is so fun to use!

The best social media app in the world.

If i accidentally press the vote option or add a link option and went to remove it seems the only way is delete spill and start over. Wouldn’t it be more user friendly to just be able to remove it. Also I have been able to swipe back to spills but not forward to them when writing them out if that makes sense.

The vibe and ethos of the app is cool but you don’t need to capitalize TEA in Auntea. We can read and yea is everywhere. A lot of social media apps are not functional.

Spill is the first social media app I’ve felt my self on. I love the community that has been built. It’s amazing being on the ground floor to things. Truly feel likes a safe space as a person of color. I’m here to stay.

The vibe on SPILL is immaculate. Unlike other social media communities, SPILL actually feels like one. The number one tip on here is to interact with your SPILL cousins. New features always dropping. The app truly gets better with each frequent update. And the team actually listens to their users.

SPILL is an amazing app for marginalized groups that don’t get the love & respect they deserve. Although every once and a while a roach creeps in we all stomp on it! I love this app! Easy to use and is more inviting than other apps.

For years, people who look and love like I do have had to create niche communities on platforms that were not designed with us in mind. Now here is the product we’ve searched for. I think back to how Fenty Beauty changed the make up game by simply including inclusive shades (and much more) and how that inclusion really makes a difference. I see this app changing the way social media is done by bringing us back to community.

The app itself is alright but in the in-app user settings it allows you to turn on which notifications you want however I had them all turned off in the app (I know you can turn them ALL off in phone settings) but the app still pushes notifications which I don’t understand. Why have those options listed?
