The monthly pass is not what it says it still charges you and you will have a negative balance on there even when you read it it says you will be able to ride for free for 30 days don’t say after a certain time it will charge you idc about it having more 5 star everyone I no always uses other people because spin be lying it’s sad and spin need to do better

Too expensive

There are a lot of Deadspin bikes and scooters that are not being replenished very hard to locate one when needed

Prices have become expensive. Almost cheaper to take an Uber. Doesn’t make sense the cost of driving a car is close to the cost of riding a scooter??

Only thing is the app wasn’t 100% accurate about batteries. Would use again tho

Too slow and expensive to really enjoy. Maybe good for basic urban mobility though.

$6.21 is too expensive for less than a mile!

Bikes are allowed on the side walk but the scooters aren’t. The continuous beeping makes it annoying to enjoy the ride and feel comfortable riding. I recommend renting a BIKE instead!

If you’re someone like me, you’re always worried about running late to class because you took to long to get ready this morning. Well these scooters are the perfect solution. I can make a 10 minute walk to a 3 minute joy ride, it’s great!

Spin is my all time favorite e-scooter company they have great rates and there scooters are top shelf! They really hall butt and sure can pop wheelies for days👍🏻!!! I love meeting up with the fellas out on the streets and racing around and teasing and goosing one and other. Lol it just makes me feel free and alive❤️

I picked up a different company’s scooter and it didn’t work, but this one worked great! Just make sure if it’s cold out you have gloves!

Beginner wish it was faster

It was amazing! You could control how fast you can go. But the only error was if you are near the memorial you can go near it will be make a sound which I get it and I rode for 35 minutes and spin only charged me 16.47 and my dad rode for 81 minutes and spin charged 61 minutes. Also spin charges you for how fast and how long I think. But that was amazing!

Wayyyy cheaper then Lyft scooter and i get to work and home with a breeze. Also it’s so many so i can always get a ride

Customer support was awesome. Scooters were easy operation and a blast to get around the city with.

Spin is perfect for a quick zoom when you don’t have access to parking or a car. Almost always works great. I highly recommend

I haven’t had any trouble using the app. This is like the Bird app but for Santa Monica. I got charged $3.50 for 5 minutes. Not too bad. They have a financial assistance program as well.

After having a less than favorable experience with one of the spin bikes where I was unable disconnect the cable lock and end the ride, Destiny quickly and without question provided an excellent solution that will have me coming back to use spin in the future. My account was initially charged a heft fare, yet was refunded without question. I was not aware spin had such excellent customer service and I am very thankful for that. I greatly appreciate their prompt resolution!! Thank you, thank you!

Customer service is top notch

But unfortunately I’ve found so that usually it doesn’t unlock the scooter so isn’t worth the trouble.

Having just finished a 1.5 hour round trip, I'm sad to say that Spin is no longer usable. In the past I'd grab a scooter for the trip to the store, pickup what I need and return. Thanks to new city rules, no park-zones and no-ride zones, I found myself stuck, unable to park, then unable to "End Ride". After returning the scooter and managing to end the ride (requiring force quitting the app twice), I was presented with the new rules. Spin: first rules then ride. End-ride should work without f

It was awesome!!! Wish it could go 5 mph more than the maximum. Overall it was awesome for a first time experience.

My very first ride on spin was on a bike. While pedaling a pedal came off and injured my ankle! Kind of sucked and was still charged for the ride!

Used these in Washington DC!!! Saw everything without most of the foot pain!! LOL Kelli helped us out at the end with taking the pictures & locking them up! She was a Angelto us THANK YOU Kelli!!! Highly recommend these!!

Not bad if you got money to burn and time to kill.

It let me go like 3 blocks and died. I should of been warned that I would get stuck riding alone as a woman. I expected to get home!

This app was just as easy to use as the scooter that I rented.

A great way to get around and tour the city!

Only suggestion would be to have directions like basically a google maps to different parking spots

I love these scooters but the map shows them to be at some locations only to find there is no scooter as specified on the map. San Francisco has huge hills and these scooters aren’t made to carry people uphill.

But I think it should be $0.34 + tax after 1 mile instead by minute. You’re still gonna make money and it’s better for the people!

It’s a lot easier to ride than I thought. Just make sure you get one that’s fully charged
