had been using top free apps for this 'til i bothered going back through my old apps & finding this. can't believe it's still up & works fantastically. the simple UI! the lack of popups & ads/banners! simpler times (in the web world). glad it works; going back to it. simple as.
Great app highly reccomend
Functions great and it’s so cool to be able to confirm the constellations and things I’m looking at— been using it for years and never fails to impress
For some reason Pluto and a few other planets have no textures, there just a bunch of empty circles
The best app ever
The clock in the top left and other bright white lights for four reception bars, wifi, power level, and the bright bar make it hard to concentrate on the rest of the universe.
There’s something like seven comments plus the interstellar object atlas coming through our solar system right now, October 2025. I want to see these. I wanna look straight at them and I want to use this app to locate them. Get busy guys! And we want to track 99942 Apophis the big scary asteroid.
One night I lined this up with the moon I pointed and this perfectly lined up I wish to work at NASA I want to be communications and this app is probably the only app that does this.
Helped find and pinpoints Star clusters and galaxies in the night sky.
I used it for science to study the stars
Love using this with the kids they love seeing the stars
I think that some of the $9.95 upgrades should be free
This app is probably one of the most unique and interesting app. This app tells me where everything is. Stars, sun, planets and ALOT more. I love this app and if you give it a bad review, I will support your opinion but I don’t understand why you would give it a bad review. I would give money for this app. If your reading this and didn’t download the app then just stop reading and download it.
Love identifying the planets and the constellations, especially when we’re up in the mountains. Very accurate and just nice to help navigate the stars. Great work.
Excellent help in star gazing
It opens immediately Shows the sky with objects names as you pan the phone around. Shows little gifs of the planets when you do a search for them Excellent app for stargazing
Thank you for keeping ads to the side .Nice job .very Handy and as accurate as posible
Whenever I see something bright in the sky and wonder what it is, I open up star chart. One of my favorite apps.
Paid for the comet upgrade, and it doesn’t list the one comet that’s been in the news for weeks
What a great app to teach the grandkids! They love it!
I have tried a bunch of these star gazer apps. This is the one!
I am in school and in Science I am learning about do universe and after school I can go and look at the stars and what they’re like and all the planets and so when I get to school I know everything and I am prepared.
I really like Star Chart. I actually purchased all of the additional expansions in the app. Sadly, I have never been able to see any of the satellites. I’m super pumped that I spent $5 on that. 🤨 I attempted to report a quality issue, but the App Store doesn’t show a purchase history for me to be able to do so. If this app actually showed me the things I paid to see, and got updated more than once every 7 years or so (those satellites I want to see? There’s a ton more out there in the last YEAR,
I love being able to identify constellations but the names are in blue and so are the pictures. Hard to read
Pretty good app, but the moon isn’t a planet and is labeled as a planet when clicked on.
From the moment I opened this app I realized educational benefit. A+
GREAT GRAPHICS ON THIS APP & FULL OF INFO FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN THE STARS!!! (Astronomy)
It’s the most advanced/ informational app regarding the constellations that I have seen thus far! I highly recommend it!
Star chart is a great app.
I enjoy this app, but sometimes it can be inaccurate, like i was looking at the moon, but the app is like pointing in another direction. How can i refresh it? Thanks
One of the few things I miss about my Android phone is Google Sky Maps. This is pretty good. I mean it's free and all. But it's not quite GSM.
Finally got it to do something above and beyond “2Sky” on the old Palm TX, and I’m impressed. Namely I’ll be able to print out usable finder charts with it!!
This is the cream of the crop when it comes to amateur astronomy pocket companion. Look no further for this is the real deal!!!!
I wish it would tell you the birth month along with each constellation associated tho, like more astrology
I’ve had this for a while now and love how easy it is to find the planets and stars in the night sky. If using your phone all you have to do is hold your phone up and you can see the stars or planets matching what’s on your phone, one of the simplest apps to use for night watching of the skies. You can even see satellite’s and the time they pass over your location the app has the flight times of the International space station and you can see it when it passes over. All N’ all it’s perfect for v
I really like this app it. I’m using it to show my girls the planets and stars, constellations. It is not exactly centered which is why I did not give it the 5 stars
The heavens hold the future!
Doesn’t show what I’m actually pointing my phone at but rather slightly off making it confusing and frustrating
It’s always nice to find an app like this that can show you what is up in the heavens. Although living in a big city it is hard to see.
Highly recommend, I’ve had this app for years and it’s worked great
An absolute necessity if you look at the night sky.
It’s fun to watch and feel like I’m flying all over the Galaxy. But it always has to re install the add ons purchased and it keeps repeating over and over.

When I try to zoom in on any object. I paid for this. I gave you my money. For what? I’ve had this app since 2013, if Android devices are included. I’ve had the iPhone app since 2014. When I open the app and zoom in to any object, it suddenly closes or crashes. It’s still doing this. I use 2 fingers to zoom out into space. It crashes when I try to zoom in (Further away from Earth).
Too many ads. I get it if you give a sample free product you got to pay the satellite bills, but I just got into the application and I got a quick add. Can you give people some time to set the app up to their liking and to look around the Milky Way before you slap ads in their galaxy direction? Just too many ad asteroids ☄️for this Martians 👽 liking. Slow down the ads please. Life’s too short even in this long universe.
Tried to search a constellation. Not listed. Very disappointing. Still fun to look around but won’t be relying on it for any real searches.
