The standout feature for me is the relationship of scale of the stars. As a 2 year amateur astronomer, that feature gives me confidence that my telescope is pointing at the right object. I upgraded to the pro version and the visibility feature is really helpful in determining how long an object will be visible and when it will cross the meridian.
This app is very useful. If you have an archaeological site and a date you can see the skies. Mound A aligns with mound B….. what do you see?
Omg it’s reall greattee…!!!
Love this simple to use star, planet gazer and finder. The kids are so fascinated! Thanks!
Paid for the upgrade hoping I’d be able to see ancient skies for archeological purposes, disappointed to find it only goes back 7000 years. Stellarium desktop will go back tens of thousands of years, so it’s frustrating to have this random limitation.
Awesome work guys
This is a great app and I love it so far, but I would really really appreciate the ability to change the app's language! I need to have my phone in Spanish but I want to learn the names of stars and constellations in English. I hope they add that ability soon.
Very accurate and easy to use
Please update to show position of T Coronae Borealis, which will nova by September 2024.
Thank you for adding the Hawaiian constellations. This is so awesome! I’d love to see the Hawaiian quadrants and sub houses added too one day (‘akau, hikina, ko’olau, kona, na leo etc). I teach Polynesian wayfinding and sail often on our big wa’a. This is an amazing tool.
It’s very nice app
I was able to see the solar eclipse
It’s a really nice app
Keeps me oriented with my night sky thanks!
Every other time I open the app it doesn’t work like it just stops moving pretty much freezes up
Much girl tells me gotta stop lol
Great app for checking the sky. The interface is smooth and well designed. Easy to track constellations and the stars.
Problem with calibration. Needs to be an option in the settings
Outstanding Performance
I just downloaded the app, and it is fabulous, however some features are only accessible through subscriptions, which is 18.99. If you do not care about costs or prices, then I suggest to download this app, but if you are looking for a one time download and no more subscriptions, then I suggest you do not download this app. Truly is spectacular how they are able to create such software, but I have to say the resolution is very low quality. Enjoy the app while you can.
It has been cloudy skies in AZ since I’ve acquired the program but I’m looking forward to the first cloudless night.
Amazing 👍😍
A must app for beginners!
This seems to be the best app for Astro viewing on the App Store. Sleek and no filler. However I would like to see some features: - 12 hour time toggle - option to show star/object trajectory when selected - lower price. I love there is a free version with no ads. But a slight decrease in price would be perfect (I plan to steer k12 students in my school district to this, it would be great to have pro features like “when to observe” available to them.
Absolutely an astronomer app father Abraham would have love this ap god challenged him to count the start
This app really brings the night sky to life
I find your app very interesting. Been learning a lot. I have about 5 friends that live at the apartment complex where I live and almost every night we are out using your app. Thank you so much
I have enjoyed Stellarium, for many years using the computer version and now the IOS version on my Cellphone with my grandson. We use the App as a teaching tool.
Very good app. I like this it’s good
their desktop version is wayyy better to learn with, but the mobile is 100% worth a nominal price for using. So easy to set, and so many settings to mess with (change time, place, “live view” vs seeking, show planets/grids/deep space stuff..).
All you have to do is point your camera to the star and the app tells you what star, constellation and plants you are looking at. And it’s all free.
I am very impressed with Stelarium. It shows the sky from any location and it is very accurate. You have the option to superimpose constellation diagrams to help identify them while looking at an up to date image of your sky. It really genius and I would recommend it for anyone interested in the sky above which is probably everyone.
I'm stunned with this incredible app!
I love that you can choose any date & time to see the alignment of the heavens. The woman gave birth when Trump was elected. Prophetic signs in the sky.
Que hermoso poder tener algo así, soy un fan del universo y me encanta la noche. Ver el filmamento te hace soñar te hace ser libre ser humano.
If you’re looking for a clean and intuitive interface, Stellarium has it. It’s a very simple yet powerful tool and I look forward to getting more use out of it.
The best app to use while stargazing with my manual Dobsonian. But I wish they added features like “objects to view this week” or something interesting like that!
I bit pricey but overall worth it. Can see many interesting stars and deep sky objects. If you have a telescope it will be an aid in picking out objects of interest.
اذا ممكن اظافة ساعات نحيسة وسعيده
Intelligent and relevant application. I highly recommend this tool. Chrononaut
最好用的观星软件,直观,晚上也看不到星,用这款就可以了
The best astronomy app I’ve ever had It’s been improving over the years and become more and more great astronomy app I appreciate your work.
I miss the ability to save my sensor and focal length. This would make searches much quicker. And,… the appears to be an insect at HD 36272. What is up with that? I would post a screenshot if I could.
I love this app! I purchased the app & it’s Super detailed! ♡
Thanks for helping me through college class.
