2025 updates are so dope

The gating and improved UI and random features are very good. Would be interesting to see some of the features like Omnisphere’s arp has on desktop, or warping features to play with time. I bought chordpolypad as sort of a tip for your updates not thinking I needed it, but found it works well with StepPolyArp.

StepPolyArp Rocks for Music Production!

This is an amazing app that lets you create and play arpeggios or sequences with ease. It is very well thought out. I use it to play Korg synths via Korg Gadget, and to create a complex or simple backing through a Korg Pa arranger. You should have a basic understanding of midi if you want to drive internal or external synths. Also, basic music theory is helpful for understanding scales, etc.

Really exceptional app.

Initially I found this as a workaround to some USB MIDI controller’s native arpeggiators that were very jittery. Other arp apps had some features but were missing others. This has everything! I’ve actually replaced the hardware controller’s arpeggiator with StepPoly entirely and programmed it via MIDI Learn in AUM to do everything the controller did and more! Everything stays perfectly in sync and has every arp parameter imagineable. Good job!

Masterful

Such a good MIDI controller, can be used as an arp or sequencer, with patterns for song mode and even sends CC controls. Easy to use with many options, the best MIDI sequencer I have used on iPad.

Keep coming back

I bought this app maybe 10+ years ago, and from time to time I get into song making, and every time I love this app the most. Probably one of the best developers and I am sorry I only paid this once! Get it

Loving it.

Multiple instances make it so much more powerful than the original standalone. Having problems feeding transpose note triggers from Rozeta Cells. Arp starts half a quarter note late. Also, A clock divider would be clutch.

Thank You!

I can’t say enough about what this app has done for my music creation. I truly owe the developer a HUGE thank you! This was the missing piece. I’m a video game developer, and I was desperately looking for a workflow that could deliver the sound/results I needed. If I could request one thing: A Mac Audio Unit, so I could use StepPoly with Logic Pro X (& Sforzando). AUM + StepPoly + bs-16i + ProQ2 = Workflow

Great Arpeggiator!

Capable of doing just about anything you can think of. Integrates perfectly with Cubasis. There’s a bit of a learning curve to climb, but the results are worth it. Make sure to read the manual. Tech support is very quick via email from the author of the software.

Amazing

I love sound design and mixing, but I am not a musician. By using midi song kits I have been able to find new arrangements to mix, but it can be an expensive endeavor. This app, along with Odesi (for chords, bass, and drum midi), let’s me generate pitch perfect midi tracks in seconds, which I can then voice with the synth of my choice and mix to taste in Cubasis. Thank you to the dev! 🙏🏾

Amazing

Extremely well made, well thought out app for arpeggios and sequences. This thing handles the bread and butter while opening up possibilities I hadn't even thought of. Also, I had a support question and the response from the developer was really quick. You get what you pay for folks, and this one's well worth it.

Wish it had real time velocity control

Love this app but I am finding myself wishing it had some realtime velocity control when I am playing chords into it. Would love to see capability in the next update. Thanks.

It’s got potential, but…

The functionality it’s there, but is there a way to add a sampling feature. Just to add different sounds and not just stock sounds. Just an idea

Any way to use velocities from the controller?

This is an excellent arpeggiator! Unfortunately I see no way to use the velocities that are played on the controller versus translating them to the sequence of velocities stored with the arp pattern. Is there a way to bypass the velocities so that you can utilize your own performed dynamics like the way most hardware arpeggiators work?
