Favorite Travel App

I LOVE Stippl!!!!! I wish they’d sponsor me, I’m planning my gap year travel using this exclusively! You can integrate bookings from Airbnb, Viator, get your guide, booking.com etc, it has incredible features and I’m obsessed!!!

Easy planning

Great free mode that isn’t a trial and has necessary features! Makes adding flights and such easy. Budget tool is helpfull for tracking expenses.

Great potential

I love how the app organizes everything. I keep trying to change names on locations and whatnot and it’s extremely slow. Wish it worked smooth, but load times are awful.

AMAZING

So far so great!! Easy lay out and I like the set up much better than Wanderlog. Worried to purchase eSIM on this though.

Really want to like it but

It just isn’t quite there yet in terms of optimization. Lags constantly, and crashes frequently, without warning, and for no discernible reason. I haven’t used the web version since I’ve been traveling, I do recall it being a bit better stability-wise. I was excited to use the travel journal feature in the moment but it seems I’ll have to go upload all my pictures to google or something and then drop them into the web browser. They’ve got a great idea, just miss on execution :(

Great app if you use both web and mobile versions

While the app can sometimes crash, I found that using the desktop version to layout the foundations of your trip and then using the app during your trip to update destinations, update expenses, and view itineraries really made for a much easier trip experience where we didn’t need to use several different apps and sheets (especially the budget tool! Underrated)

Some bugs, but a great product

I used it for back to back cruises with an extension. It’s an awesome tool, a lot better than tripit. Bugs: cant look up southwest or delta flights, doesn’t display overnight ferry durations correctly, globe map sometimes doesn’t render properly

Incredibly Buggy and nearly unusable

Although this app would be awesome for planning a multi/intercity trip, it’s nearly unusable. Each time I try to add a destination, change the number of nights, create a budget, or really make any changes whatsoever, my destinations will remove them self and won’t reappear. If I try to change the nights (from 2-3, for example), it reverts back to 1 night. As a developer myself, I’d have to guess that there is something very wrong with the state machine being used to track changes throughout th

Features lacking

The app is nice for visualizing routes at a high level, but why doesn’t the map show locations of things you mark to see/do/eat/drink? A major miss IMO. It should also integrate with TripAdvisor to pull in trips you’ve already created in TA

Has a mind of its own

Been trying to create a trip but it’ll randomly pop up destinations I’ve deleted and promptly wreck everything ive created. It’s becoming an utter train wreck to use and I’m about to go back to a spreadsheet which is easier to manage and won’t create false inputs.
