Here it is five years later and I'm writing another review. This is still by far one of the best games on the app store. Challenging. Endless configurations. Play it daily.

I’ve loved this game for years. I wish they would update it for modern iPhone displays.

Can you add a pause feature during replay? Maybe touch the screen to pause.

This game is still very good!

This is the best app I’ve ever downloaded on my phone, I’ve played it regularly 5+, across multiple phones it’s always the most played game I have. No ads, no in app purchases, just a good game I play to pass time.

I love this game however, they haven’t update it in a while. It crashes whenever you lose a game. Will not let you restart the game like it used to. Again, it crashes. But I still love to play it.

Still the best and lightest Risk-like game for iOS, but it's gone years without modernizing updates. As of 2025, it seems impossible to use online battles due to an error happening upon trying to register a username. No username is registered, no account made etc, no logging in, no playing. Offline modes still work however.

Love these type of games. It’s like “Dice Wars” that I would play in flash back in high school. But man is it frustrating when the AI attacks at disadvantage and wins over and over again, then you lose battles with 2 or 3 dice advantage over and over again. Just watching my dice the AI rolls many more 5s and 6s then 1s and 2s, and opposite for me. Bad luck for the player seems to be built in even on normal difficulty and that’s a cheap way to bake in difficulty.

Really could use pinch to zoom added for modern devices!

This once got me through a 3 hour delay with strangers lol please create online mode. It’s better than risk

I’ve played Strategery almost every day for over ten years, but that time has ended. The online mode to play against other people no longer works. You can’t log in or create new accounts. The local game playing against the computer still works.

Game was great but started crashing under 17.4.1. If they fix that it will be great again.
