Strydr City Walking & Cycling App Reviews

I think like this app. I’m not totally sure how I feel about it.

Downloaded during walking adventure in downtown Chicago after google maps continued to confuse. Would use again as a pedestrian guide

For the price the app works pretty darn well. I have paid for other apps that were so much worse.

Retracting my last review actually it wasn’t the app that changed to dark mode it was my iphone settings that did it.

I’ve used Strydr for walking around a couple of car-centric California cities. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the routes and the efficient way it keeps me oriented. It’d be nice to have a list of turns or road names to review before or during the trip and an alert to upcoming turns would be a good addition. But all things considered, it’s worth the few bucks to have the confidence that it gives me when doing urban hikes.

I used it Athens GR and it was great help getting around. Offline use. Interactive.

Worked with me once I had an issue, till I completely sorted it out. The app works fine. I use it when I go for holiday. I move around cities just like a local with the help of this app. Very helpful app indeed.

I love this app. The compass pointer is awesome. Pro tip for new husbands...never walk a hangry pregnant woman around on vacation using google maps! This app is light, responsive and well laid out. Great job.

It can be a bit buggy sometimes, like it shows the little blue dot is one street over than where we are

Was hopeful this app would be what we needed but when I try to type a location it powers off automatically
