I just showed this app to my real estate buddy, and he says he will point the app at the window, and the app tells him what time of day to bring the client — because the sun will be coming through at that very time. And he says, he knows what time to come back to take pictures of the home for a real-estate listing, because he knows what time of day the sun will come through which window, absolutely amazing.

Well thought out interface, works perfectly.

This app is incredible. Without any setup, you can jump right into the AR view, walk up to any window or living space in an apt or house and see exactly where you’ll have sun at any given time of the day and how it changes throughout the time of year. Top down overlay view onto gmaps is also awesome!! 100% worth the $10!

This app has done so much for understanding of the design and layout of our new construction retirement home. To understand what you can experience before you start laying out your walls is a game changer! Thank you for this tool 😎

This is a standard tool on the phone of every cinematographer and photographer in the country. if it’s not on your phone, you don’t work professionally.

This is a great tool for anyone who wants to know where the sun will be at any given time. I use it to plan location shoots. The mapping function is awesome.

I spend a lot of time outside, I also love solar power, gardening, and I work in the film industry. Knowing when and where The Sun is going to be at any given second is a god-tier power that only humans with Sun Seeker can possess. Seriously, anytime you wanna be in the shade, you can use this app to find out where the sun is coming from, and Sun Seeker can help you find shade to hide from it’s deadly gaze. I use this app almost every single day. 10/10

Price and helpful

Trying to plan my garden at a new location after we moved and this app is invaluable for determining where the best sun will be during the growing season. I can see clearly in the 3d view where the sun will be throughout the day, whether trees will be blocking it, where i can get afternoon shade, etc. Fantastic app!!

This evening I was walking across the campus where I work, close to sunset. I am still exploring this app and noticed it has a nice feature where you can see the path of the sun’s rays on top of a map. I noticed that at a certain point where my path would cross between two buildings, I would likely catch sight of the sunset. As I approached the spot, I slowed down and then stopped and watched for a few minutes, taking in the beautiful transition as the sun light through the western clouds paint

Call me a weirdo but I really like this kinda stuff. Great job!

As a horticulturist this is the most valuable app to planting and landscaping in my opinion. I’m sure there are others but I heard of this one from an arborist. It’s been invaluable to my work.

App gives a great way to see where the sun is going to be at any particular time and place in a room using AR. Also has a great graphic that shows direction of sun light overlayed on a map that you can manipulate to see the direction of the sun on a location through the day. Glad I bought it!

I love that I can figure out how much sun and shade potential flowerbeds will get. For beekeeping if the hives will get enough sun in the winter.

I’m not a working photographer now, but still need the info that Sunseeker provides. I occasionally shoot portraits outdoors and landscapes, obviously outdoors. Sunseeker is my “go to” tool for planning those photo shoots.

There isn’t an app around I’ve used, professionally, more than this one. I’ve made critical decisions time and time again with the information provided by this tool.

Hope the developers can implement a 3D view of the mapping to ensure close hillsides don’t intercept sunlight. Please update this- Strava, All Trails, etc use these maps, should be an easy crossover.

Sun Seeker is an exceedingly well done app! Great for knowing exactly where the sun rises and sets.m, the hours of daylight and brightness of the sun. Indispensable to photographers!!!! I love the overlay on my neighborhood showing sun position at various times a day. Helpful to gardeners I like to know exactly the azimuth of the solstices, and yep, good for that. Highly recommended

I’m in the film industry and when I go location‘s guarding I always like to know where the sun is at at the moment in any day. This app is automatic well thought out. Even when I’m planting vegetables I want to know the best place that gets the most sun, once again bingo this app does it :-).

I use this app often for all sorts of things. This is a must have for planning outdoor photography. The map overlay helps me to find the perfect spot for sunsets. Handy for planning where to park my car for best shade when returning from a long hike. I also used it in February to determine the best spot to plant a tree in my yard for optimal shade during the hottest month of the year. Love this app.

I love using this app camping for lining up my tent at night to get shade to sleep in in the morning. Plus it’s so fun to see where everything is regarding us and our star.

This app is awesome, especially the 3D view, I almost mounted an array of solar panels in a location that looked good now (May) but would have no sun in the winter months due to a row of trees.

This is an incredibly useful app for tracking the sun and for monitoring sunrise and sunset times. I love the augmented reality view of the Sun’s track.
