I’ve downloaded paid and spent incredible lengthy times within the weather, industry application field; most suck, are decent… Sun Seeker, wind, and Moon Seeker - it’s sister apps are the best in Weather all mitigation management, construction, engineers, and executives utilize this application. Best investment in Weather of my life. Thank you incredibly creators. I will always support you and your endeavors.

I love this app. The 3D view has been incredibly useful in planning solar panel locations, finding sunrise/sunset times over the visible mountains, etc. Truly a gem of an app.

Sun Seeker has a real elegant simplicity in its design and functionality that is very impressive. Every function is useful. The biggest issue is the inability to zoom in and out of the 3D mode, it would make it so much easier to get an overall perspective especially on the phone. And to a lesser degree the map could use a weather overlay so you could see how things like cloud cover were affecting the topography, but frankly this needs to be implemented on the Wind Seeker app first and then maybe

I’m an architect been using this app for many years. I was fantastic to be able to go onto a site and know exactly where the sun will be at any time of the year valuable app highly recommended.

Bought this app a couple of years ago to help us plan our solar installation. It’s me of the best apps I’ve ever used, period. If you want an accurate way to plan PV layout; this is worth every penny.

Wish it was easier to switch locations. Want to ask, where will sun be at sunset, based on location.

This is my favorite app. Simple to navigate. Excellent accuracy. Very informative. I use it mostly for tracking the altitude of the sun for site planning. Also use it for day to day tracking as well. The interactive solar sun path is intuitive and easy to use.

This is one of the oldest and most used apps on my phone. For photography and for help setting up camp (knowing where the sun will be) while backpacking. Love this app.

I originally got the app for working on films and commercials, but I do find myself using it for random day today things. The 3-D view is a game changer.

Sun seeker is great as a DP because I can scout a location and know where I have the best usable daylight for my shots!!

A simple app that makes me thankful to live in a time where technology allows me to track the sun. As you can imagine, for photography this app is very useful. Definitely worth the price!

I successfully have used it to position solar panels and position flowers and shrubs.

This is a great app. I wish they would add the fall equinox. They have the spring equinox but not the fall. All said this is one of the best apps I have ever seen or used.

You can use it like a solar compass to get on roofs to see if solar panels are applicable, locate any star, any planetary body all their movements perfect for anything as astrology Awesome for planting probably another hundred things I don’t even use that are amazing- couldn’t be happier and I’ve got the free version, it’s helpful literally every day! Basically perfect don’t need anything else

From gardening to photography and videography, this app is always helpful in helping to figure out where the light will be.

Number one app in my digital tool kit. Use it for almost every production. As well as a host of other uses including where to put a new garden bed etc.

I just showed this app to my real estate buddy, and he says he will point the app at the window, and the app tells him what time of day to bring the client — because the sun will be coming through at that very time. And he says, he knows what time to come back to take pictures of the home for a real-estate listing, because he knows what time of day the sun will come through which window, absolutely amazing.

This app is incredible. Without any setup, you can jump right into the AR view, walk up to any window or living space in an apt or house and see exactly where you’ll have sun at any given time of the day and how it changes throughout the time of year. Top down overlay view onto gmaps is also awesome!! 100% worth the $10!

This is a great tool for anyone who wants to know where the sun will be at any given time. I use it to plan location shoots. The mapping function is awesome.

I spend a lot of time outside, I also love solar power, gardening, and I work in the film industry. Knowing when and where The Sun is going to be at any given second is a god-tier power that only humans with Sun Seeker can possess. Seriously, anytime you wanna be in the shade, you can use this app to find out where the sun is coming from, and Sun Seeker can help you find shade to hide from it’s deadly gaze. I use this app almost every single day. 10/10

Price and helpful

Trying to plan my garden at a new location after we moved and this app is invaluable for determining where the best sun will be during the growing season. I can see clearly in the 3d view where the sun will be throughout the day, whether trees will be blocking it, where i can get afternoon shade, etc. Fantastic app!!

This evening I was walking across the campus where I work, close to sunset. I am still exploring this app and noticed it has a nice feature where you can see the path of the sun’s rays on top of a map. I noticed that at a certain point where my path would cross between two buildings, I would likely catch sight of the sunset. As I approached the spot, I slowed down and then stopped and watched for a few minutes, taking in the beautiful transition as the sun light through the western clouds paint

Call me a weirdo but I really like this kinda stuff. Great job!

As a horticulturist this is the most valuable app to planting and landscaping in my opinion. I’m sure there are others but I heard of this one from an arborist. It’s been invaluable to my work.

App gives a great way to see where the sun is going to be at any particular time and place in a room using AR. Also has a great graphic that shows direction of sun light overlayed on a map that you can manipulate to see the direction of the sun on a location through the day. Glad I bought it!

I love that I can figure out how much sun and shade potential flowerbeds will get. For beekeeping if the hives will get enough sun in the winter.

I’m not a working photographer now, but still need the info that Sunseeker provides. I occasionally shoot portraits outdoors and landscapes, obviously outdoors. Sunseeker is my “go to” tool for planning those photo shoots.

It’s not that the app is bad. It’s just that the info is already available in so many places for free. It does nothing special… how did it get rated so high. I bought and will uninstall
