T-Mobile Scam Shield App Reviews

I recently upgraded to iOS 26, but for some reason, my device says Compromise device, even though it’s not malware. Can you fix this?

Sometimes it works but sometimes it doesn’t, I get all kinds of calls still and it makes me want too change my number! Ugh

Amazing AppIt Does The Job

It works when it wants too. I’m just just over putting so much time into something like this. I need it to work when I need it. Not when it fdecides to work.

It should work better. Just give an option to flag or block all voip calls. I don’t need calls from anyone who isn’t accountable with verified ID or credit

I would like to have the option to use a separate app for the scam shield I pay additionally for each month. It’s easier to look up numbers and modify my setting instead of using the T-life.

Okay good it’s good it’s it’s OK it helps. I haven’t had no stupid calls but now they’re sending messages but I will fix the problem. I hope you Cantu. yes continue because I feel safe with scam block As soon as I can, I will move up to update you guys, but right now I can’t afford it

No more unwanted calls! Plus it’s simple to use

I get so many spam/scam/robo calls daily and they are still not detected it’s ridiculous. T-mobile please do better. Even crazy spam text get through. I’m blocking numbers daily. Crazy thing too is the same people call from different numbers and a lot of them are recordings or they don’t even leave a message but you know it’s a spam call. This app needs to be improved.

Helps keep with extra security

I would estimate that this app is about 98% effective in blocking spam calls of every kind. I wish every software I use was as good. For this reason alone I would never switch from T-mobile.

I dislike getting them because they’re annoying, but this feature is great wish I had it earlier.

There are a lot of calls getting thru,they are piggybacking off of real phone numbers from real people I have called several of theses numbers back and they were legitimate people.This has to be illegal 😞

This exposed a call I got with the person claiming to be from Xfinity but the Scam Blocker Caller ID showed the name was under "Phylyst (Something) it's like bitttttt u ain't Xfinity. Then other phone numbers that try to call that they identify as definitely Spam or Scam number it just automatically doesn't allow my phone to ring when they try to call. Also you can report Scam/Spam calls like the fake Xfinity caller as a Scam or a few other options I forgot what exactly

This app does work to some degree. It started to block annoying spam calls but now I get weird chain texts and international calls. I wish there was an option to block international calls with this app. I started to use another app, Robo-Killer, and was switching back and forth between the two to compare. Now I just leave both of them on.

Used to catch a ton of calls, now not as many. And today a number called three times in a row (Google shows weird info on it so very likely a scam) and it doesn’t even show up in the scam shield to report it. But some days it does a good job blocking. These scammers are just getting trickier.

Ive been trying to post this nice review for days I’m new to T-Mobile and while my spam calls are blocked and this app is super effective in that way I wish I could delete all calls at once rather than individually. Too time consuming ! Also I wish I could turn off voicemail to text . For me it’s unnecessary

I’m going to say being to have this added service to the scam app to get the info with out having to pay for it thru a different service to find out who this number is really

It would be nice if you could import your contacts to the approved caller list. I was told this was not possible

This is the best phone block I’ve used I’ve had others that block everything but this just blocks scam,advertising and other calls

Since enabling Tscam my cell phone has stopped passing robo calls to me. I’m enjoying a somewhat quiieter life.

Blocks all scam calls.

Maybe this is a case of the more you use it the better it gets. The app is very good now.

Getting most spam calls. However, I have all notifications set to on but I never get them. If I open the Spam App, it shows it blocked it but I should get an iPhone notification which seems to not work. Hopefully this can be fixed shortly. Thanks.

The app used to work now when I open it it just closes right away and doesn’t do anything. They need to fix that.

spam shield is feeling me. I am receiving too many spam texts and calls from numbers that I continually request to be blocked. I’m not sure that this app is working as it’s intended to.

The app lags and it takes a long time for it load. It takes a long time for it to process to block a number or send it to voicemail. I constantly get error messages. I tried deleting the app and reloading it, and I get the same problem. This app will be better if there wasn’t so many issues.

It says it blocks calls but I still CONSTANTLY get fraud, scam and spam calls, sometimes multiple times per day. It says it has blocked 35 calls in the last month but I still get crazy amounts. Not sure what their process is but it seriously needs some work especially for something that people have to pay for.

This app tends to work when it wants to. I get about half the spam calls come through regularly. Which is disappointing when using the paid version. I also notice calls getting through that don’t even show up on the app but do show in my call history. Definitely not impressed. Using service with TMO on iPhone 15 PM.
