How is this not a regular used app?? It’s amazing, adjustable, easy to use and integrates with either in-vivo pictures or pictures I’ve previously taken! I’ve had the “pleasure” of being the guy who calculates what everyone owes me and their tax and tip. This breaks it down into each person’s stuff, lets me add multiple people to the same item, and even divide an item into 3rds, 4ths, or 5ths! It’s awesome, cannot recommend it enough

this makes my life so much easier!! honestly i love this the only thing i would like is if they wouldn’t do automatic tax you can even input your own information for the check! it’s so great

It’s an awesome tool when it works. The issue is it doesn’t work half the time. It will often record the date or time on the receipt as a price and throw everything off. Or sometimes it won’t scan or read items randomly in the middle of the bill. Sometimes I have to scan receipts two or three times before it starts to work.

With all the eating with different families and sports team, Tab is super easy to use. I took a picture of the receipt and it OCR and created a receipt in the app that I can just click line items. It auto added tax and I can adjust the tip amount. So easy!

Lifesaver app for going to dinner with friends. Simple UI and makes it easy to use. No problems making the checks split. Venmo integration is buggy but screenshotting works fine. Highly recommend!

Great app with a clear mission, a simple interface, and excellent usability. It does exactly what it needs to do. The app accurately scans most receipts and includes an editor for the few that need manual adjustments. You can pass your phone around so everyone can tag their items, or share a code for friends who already have the app. There’s also a birthday feature that lets you easily include or exclude the birthday person when splitting the bill.

I use the app frequently with friends and it never fails!

I love this app sooo much. I’ve been using it for years and it’s such a huge help when you dine out with friends/people and you want to split the tab evenly. You might have to manually input things once in a while when the camera can’t get the whole receipt but other than that it’s a great app!

It is so helpful for splitting checks! One of my favorite apps.

I’ve had this app forever and known the workarounds well but the last 3-4, admittedly infrequent uses, it’s failed horribly. Dropping items, tax, or adding something that isn’t a menu item.

Been using this for years and so happy it’s got an update!! You take a photo of a big group receipt. You select who ordered what. If anyone split things it allows 2 people up to however many in the party! At the end, it allows you to decide on the tip % and everyone gets a sub total with an itemized “receipt” if needed. I love that tabs are split fairly in large groups cuz then no one feels upset it wasn’t fair. Thanks for continuing to invest in the tab!

Best app I have

This app does the job and is accurate. The only thing is that the flash is annoying and I didn't see a way to disable it.

Great app, super helpful. For some reason I haven’t been able to connect Venmo. It would be wonderful if this could be solved.

This app has been so helpful when it comes to dividing a large group bill. Simple & easy to use. For some reason the Venmo plug-in doesn’t work with this app at the moment, but that’s an easy enough work around. Game changer!

Finally I don’t have to subsidize my friends alcoholism

I run a meetup group and splitting the bill with strangers is the worst! This makes it sooo easy! Just a quick pic of the receipt, assign each item to someone, and you’ve got the total for each person in 2 seconds! Then- I just give them the total and they can pay how they want. I just wish there was a quick way to mark each person off as having paid. But seriously- this is simple to use and just works!

Even without a connection to Vimeo, it works great. It’s really transformed we going from being extremely anxious about splitting up large bills to make it quick and easy, a real game changer it has actual positive benefits in my life. Every time I try to connect to Venmo, it fails though. Sending a text message works just fine though.

Does the job, but the interface is a little outdated. I also found it frustrating that I couldn’t delete when I selected someone paying me accidentally.

Great tool for group to split the payment. However the Venmo doesn’t work

Why does it add all itemized items, and than also add the subtotal. Doubling the amount, think you have a bug. Also, you should have a currency or at minimum a way to multiple all lines by a currency percent.

Amazing app, makes it very simple and easy to split the bill and has some neat stuff added on! Hoping for the Venmo connection to be fixed soon!

Excellent app. OCR is top-notch and each step of the process is easy to use and easy to edit. The ability to split individual items amongst multiple people is easy and super useful. Couldn't recommend more!

Been using it for years and is great for splitting annoying bills. My only feedback would be that it would be great if you specify quantity per user on items. All that said, this is amazing as a Free app and props to the developers for never pushing any ads. Would pay for this app tbh

This app is so much more intuitive than Splitwise but its Venmo integration has been broken for a very long time, which makes it hard to recommend to people. Is there a plan to fix this? Is this app in active development? Bill-splitting is such a common problem, it’s baffling our options for it are so lackluster. Hope you resolve this soon.

There’s no ability to add tax manually, venmo doesn’t connect

Works ok. Pretty difficult to navigate at first and still difficult after you figure out how it works. Not very intuitive. Can’t edit bills after 1 week.

Venmo has been “unavailable to connect” for the whole week I’ve had the app. That was pretty much my selling point on getting this app, so not sure if it’s user error or a bug. But if there is a work-around, I’d love to see a spot on the app with helpful tips for dealing with issues like this.
