Tap Forms Organizer 5 Database App Reviews

I have looked for an easy to use database type app for a number of years but without much luck. I found this app a few months ago and really love its flexibility and ease of use. You can create different views of your table data, add or remove fields as you fine-tune your table requirements, create calculated fields, and more. It would be great if there were a few more reporting type features, but other than that, this app really rocks!

I’ve been using Tap Forms almost daily since 2009. I’ve tried many other apps over the years on iOS, Android and even Windows but nothing ever came even close to the richness and great support I get from Tap Forms. I love it!!!

I've been using TAP Forms for years and it continues to be one of my favorite apps on my laptop and phone. And, Brendan is quick to reply when I have a question. His recommendations are always spot on.

Excellent app that is very flexible and useful for my use as an electronics engineer to keep track of parts and circuitry. The ability to create and read barcodes makes storage and retrieval of parts so convenient! Kudos to the maker of the app!!

This is the only app that should be sold in the Apple App Store. Been using it for years and could not run my business without it.

I just need a functioning database to manage a craft fair I run every year, and Tapforms does it for me. I’m sure if I needed other databases (like organizing my CD and DVD collections) then it would be just fine for that, too.

Tap forms is an excellent product that I’ve been using for years, the customer support is outstanding, and the functionality of the product definitely helps me in my small business, especially since I can’t afford to hire a developer to write a custom solution for me. Highly recommend.

Dose not synchronize all the time keep back ups handy

I really appreciate having Tap Forms to manage my database. Without it I would be brainless. It is my offline storage. Easy to use and I do not even use all the available features that it comes with. Thanks Brendan. Again I needed help when Apple changed their OS for the iMac and the IOS for the iPhone causing issues with the syncing. Thanks to a very quick response from Brendan and his suggestions how to solve it I was up and running again quickly and easily. Thanks again for a job well

I was up way to late trying to get some of my information, after opening the app all my information was gone! I reached out to the support an left a email. That morning (saturday) there was a message from Brandon leading me towards a direction, that coupled with reasearching my phone settings we were able to get it working once again, i have had this app for MANY years an i was amazed how fast they got back to me, and on a weekend!

I imported a catalogue of over 6,000 78-RPM records from Professional File (a DOS program) and have had no regrets. I now have a second collection catalogued with photos. The only difficulty I have had is with synching, but AirDrop suffices. The developer has also been generous with his support.

Tap Forms is a database application that can be very simple to use or capable of quite complex database applications. It is worth every penny of its cost.

Bought iPhone to use this app. My database using tapforms allows me to have my personal database with me at all times I have my iPhone Update 4/2/2024. Still best app. Using same data over 10 years. Recent updates are this better than ever. We transfer information to other devices and now it works quickly and seamlessly with Airdrop we use it to keep track of our business all the time. We’d be lost without it!

I’ve been using Tap Forms for many years on both my phone and my desktop computer. I have 6 different databases, with a few thousand records. The databases range from personal, to business, and others. Being able to sync data between the desktop computer and the phone is great. Customer Support is quick and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this app for anyone looking to design their own database.

I have been using this since the iPhone 4 days, and it is still the best tool for easy access to structured, and even not-so-structured information. It’s easy to load external data, to send data to other apps, and to search within a table or across all your tables. And the reliable sync between devices makes it feel like something that Apple had developed.

Both the computer version and the iPhone version are top of the line database software, and so simple to use. Best of all is the support when you have questions - top notch. Mark

iCloud syncing is a bit flaky

Not only is this a great product, but the support is amazing! I had a specific problem and when I emailed for help, I expected to get a response in a day or so. I heard back immediately and had my issue immediately resolved. Thank you!

easy to set up simple databases as well as complex ones. really appreciate ability to password protect sensitive data. Great benefit being able to run it on both the iphone and mac.

I’ve been using Tap Forms since my first iPhone im 2010. Over the years and upgrades, it has been a valuable app to me for saving data. I recently migrated from TF4 to version 5 and, since I am not too savvy, I emailed Brendan and he responded within minutes to my questions. I am not yet using all of the features of Tap Forms 5, but I am sure appreciate knowimg that help is available if needed. Thanks Brendan!

This is a great app for organizing your interests. What makes it outstanding for me is the prompt, patient, and friendly customer service.

I love this app. I use it for keeping my recipes in order. I can add a picture of the dish to be prepared. I can also easily select, copy, and paste recipes I see on the internet. I can also send a PDF of the recipe to my friends even if they do not have this app. Best of all....I have all my recipes with me on my phone. If I go on a trip and need a recipe, I have it with me. If I am at the grocery store and am not sure what I need to buy, I have the recipe on my phone. And another BEST OF ALL..

I use it for grocery lists, to track pet care, to track pet vaccinations, to inventory household goods, to track credit card info, to keep track of my Enbrel injections, to track how often I change whole house water filters and air filters in devices in each room, to track how often I change my estring, to track workouts — I could go on and on. I use Tap Forms to organize my project work for my home business and it has been my go-to database for a decade now. I love that it’s easy to set up a new database and then incredibly robust over time. I have never had another piece of software for work that required so little trouble-shooting and maintenance! It’s a bit pricy up-front but highly worth it. Recommend.

A more than worthy successor to Bento. Works seamlessly across ALL of my devices. Powerful enough to import the complex data that I use and write equations to study the data. A very good financial investment.

Actively maintained, responsive to bugs and suggestions. TapForms is powerful and well designed. It’s been through a lot of changes since I switched in desperation when Bento was dropped; and it just gets better.

Syncing isn’t too great. When this improves it’ll be better. Nothing really gets added. Only fixes. But overall syncing is a horrible nightmare. A great foundation though.
