Tayasui Calligraphy App Reviews

I already do hand written calligraphy using pilot parallel pens and pens with square nibs. Using my fingers is challenging but I’d love to make a few smaller pens to try and practice on without having to buy the expensive apple pen. I love calligraphy and even the new calligrafitti style that’s becoming such a fantastic art style. While I don’t have an iPad I do have my iPhone 13 Pro and just bought my MacBook Air m2 16gb laptop so I’m hoping to advance my computer design skills from paper, canv

Is easy to use. Reliable app

There was a way to add photos / files. I’m new to calligraphy and would like to practice by tracing too. And I wish I could turn off the gestures, I keep accidentally undo-ing when I’m trying to move the canvas (which I can’t figure out how to resize). Aside from those few things, I like this app. They’ve done a beautiful job making a simple and pleasant writing experience.

this app is now my favorite drawing app. it feels so peaceful when drawing i don’t know how but it does haha. the only thing i would like to see added to this app is the possibility of the duplication of the drawings thank you for this amazing app!!! ✨🥰

I the application got much waited features, like layers and guides. Now it’s close to perfection. If only it could get more papers, guides and snapping, that would be grait (even for additional fee) just love it. It reminds me of my childhood, when I was making poster headings for school newspaper. Although quite simple, it is still my first choice. I feel quite limited by size of the canvas and the guidelines. The guidelines are way too big if you wanted to write anything more than a short word (55 slant). When I rotate my iPad to be in landscape mode it turns 55 slant into a 35 slant? Not sure why it does that. I also wish you could move the canvas similar to procreate. If I wanted to write on the left hand side I would need to zoom in. It won’t just let me center the left side of the canvas. Also zooming is kinda buggy.

Super good app

I’ve been waiting and coming back to this app every so often because it’s one of the best caligraphy apps there is but what hurts it is that it still lacks basic import layer functions. Can’t import an alphabet or certificate to practice tracing. It’s mind boggling why. It has a great paper creating feature that is a very powerful that many drawing apps lack. But still missing ability to import. The developer responded to me a couple years ago so i help hope that they’d add the basic feature but

I draw with calligraphy.

I love this app! I wish there was more to do on here because I know. You would have great features.I have found that for some reason my paper turns different colors and I can’t get them back to the original white color I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but I wish there was somewhere we could go to find out tips or little things to do. Great app, I just wish it also had little lessons on how to write in calligraphy

It’s an amazing calligraphy experience , but it needs some more features like cut and paste and selection and layers

Since the last update I have lost the brush with thin start and end, so the lines can’t be subtle any longer. Hope this gets fixed. Like the layers and other improvements.

This used to be a nice little app for doodling around when you needed to just get away and let your mind flow. The new subscription model is overpriced for how I suspect most people use this app and it neuters the free part of the app. For instance, I can’t even change the pen width anymore and the default size is HUGE. In my opinion it isn’t worth having anymore as it is too expensive to subscribe to ($3 a month or $10 a year) and too limited to use the free version.
