Technogym - Training Coach App Reviews

There is a problem with how Moves are synced in various areas of the app. I already submitted feedback in the app, but wanted to also have it reflect in this review. Please address!

The app works well but it would be great to be able to change spin bikes without canceling the class and logging back in to select a new bike when a preferred bike opens up.

To make the online booking experience more enjoyable for non swimmers, in app, provide a option to choose swimming lane or class. Currently, too many swim lanes to scroll thru before selecting a class. Thanks!

Great app poorly designed controls

Awesome app. Love that it makes tracking your workouts and moments easy so you know what you did last time and can increase over time. Product feedback- I should be able to have the rest timer still running if I navigate to another app.

My trainer has created a fifteen exercise program that keeps me focused. I approach each exercise knowing exactly what I am to do

App is fine, had no strong opinions about it until a recent update, which is what is prompting this review. Please, if you care about your users, PLEASE turn off the auto-start on timed exercises!! For one thing, I just don’t switch between exercises that fast, but it also doesn’t let you watch the how-to video when you turn your phone sideways if the exercise is paused. I am absolutely fine with having to tap a button to start the timer, please switch it back.

Recent upgrade made it more difficult to click to finish exercises. Instead of one or two clicks there’s multiple clicks. Some of my equipment does not scan which leads to multiple clicks to Mark done.

Open Workouts app with no workout open then hold the watch next to the reader.

Ok so yeah I can log in w the Apple Watch. But that’s as far as it goes. Cardio machines won’t gather my heart rate data so it’s slightly disappointing because I was really looking forward to it. As for logging for workouts, super limited due to the fact that it won’t allow me to save data but only mark which equipment I used. 3/5 because I like the design and the competitive edge about it. As far as utility not so much. Needs improvement.

Does Technogym have any plans to add connectivity to the Oura Ring?

My gym has a lot ot Technogym equipment, so I downloaded the app to connect and build a workout routine. But whenever I scan with the app, it redirects to a link—prompting me to...download the app! I can't do any connected workouts because of this feedback loop.

The app has no ability to export data from Technogym devices, such as treadmills or bikes, and sync this to Strava. With this, the Technogym app is a walled garden, allowing no syncing to platforms, like Strava, that capture other workouts, such as outdoor runs. Without this ability, the app is pretty much useless. I’ve tried multiple different methods to see if it could sync or export, to no avail. This shouldn’t need to be a feature request after the app has been released for several years, i
